Do not use the free plan. If you don't play for a short period (In my case 4 days), they completely lock you out of your world, not even allowing you to access the world download unless you pay for one of their plans. This forces you to spend money so you can download the world, to then switch to a different platform anyway. Definitely avoid.
i have had a server with some friends for a little while now that we enjoy playing on and now because we haven't played on it for 2 days its suddenly "inactive" and wants me to spend money on it to continue server
Horrible. I paid some money for a paid plan and it didn't go through. I contacted support and they completely ignored me.
added a new feature that locks your server when you dont play on it for a week or two. This basically makes this unplayable if you dont spend money and you cant even access the server files, which means all your progress is forerver gone. Do not use this, if you plan on keeping your world
Shutting down my servers with almost no warning and not letting me start them. Say that they are the best free server hosters when the free experience is so bad that you have to pay just to be able to start the server.

I love minefort, really easy to use and great quality. Only critique would be that I lost my world of 2 years when I updated the Minecraft version which is disappointing and I am currently unable to get it back as I hadn't yet made a backup. Overall, a great platform to host a server!
I tried to play my Minefort server (with plugins) but it didn't work. the problem went on and on for 3.5 days, can you believe that? but then after the 3.5 days of complaining my friend told me to uninstall all of the plugins and thats how you can fix it, but when i did that i tried to play my minefort server but it just took me to the lobby, so DO NOT USE PLUGINS ON MINEFORT. 6/10

The servers are good.but THe support IS TRASH
Very laggy and the community is mostly made up of hackers and people who just want to grief your server also the plugins are kinda annoying bcz most of them dont work :( 3.5 stars

bro 8/h on free plan and 4 gb of ram is absolute shit and also it doesnt have forge or mods, just plugins.
so good i could make my own servers but the best part was pre-made plugins so instead of searching the internet and take awhole day to get all plugins i could just do it in the website took like only 30 minutes and i had the best server anticheat admin powers worldedit more weapons admin commands just everything is so good and free templates was so useful

My son has been wanting to play on a private server with his friends for some time now. Minefort made it extremely easy to set him up with a hut and best of all it was free!
