It was good but no gun mods that actually worked and I couldn't find envy mideveil glass so that was not fun and the gun mod file I downloaded and it didnt work so that makes me sad and gives you a 4 star
There is a lot of lag compared to other server hosting sites. However the 24/7 hosting is great! The lag as a tradeoff for a time limit is extremely worth it. Especially considering that the lag isn't too bad.

Too many annoying paywalls, web interface looks nive but is very glitchy. They should add a way to change your email in account settings. They also need to make a way to transfer ownership of a server. Server speed/latency is decent, but the servers tend to be unreliable and randomly shut down. Minefort is one of the best free MC hosting services I've found but it still lacks some.

I hadn’t used Minefort in quite a while but I had decided to use it to share a modded world with my friend, Chris. I honestly thought the website was really clean and extremely easy to use and I really appreciated that. It was a huge improvement from what it used to be. Everything is pretty straightforward and simple. Now the reason I put 4 and not 5 stars is because me and my friend have about 50 ish mods on our server and it got laggy quick. Chris and I decided to upgrade our server for $5.99 and honestly it helped a lot. Before, when we would go in boats together or 1 of us was exploring the other would stay and build, the server would lag like crazy! It would teleport us 50-100 blocks behind so whenever we thought we were moving a lot it would just teleport us back to where we started. (pretty much anything that required loading chunks.) There was also a huge delay in the inventory, crafting, and combat (killing mobs mostly). When we bought the upgrade it definitely fixed the chunk loading lag and really just relieved a lot of tension in the server. The lag was really stressful. However it didn’t fix the delay in the inventory or combat. The combat delay definitely got better from what I see, so I’m definitely grateful for that. But the inventory delay is still pretty prominent. Whenever we are in our inventory and are moving things around in there it’s delayed and the highlights on the white boxes are also delayed if that makes sense.

This free Minecraft server platform, that is Minefort, is very helpful for playing with friends. Whether that would be building a WWI trench or playing survival, you will always have fun. If I could give it six stars I would without hesitation.

The website is very easy to navigate and the service is pretty cheap. However there is some lag on the servers especially when I am far from spawn and another person is in the spawn area or somewhere else, as multiple chunks are being loaded (although it fixes itself after a few seconds). The service is pretty cheap and I can say that this is one of the best hosts for its price.
