We asked Mildon to run a webinar on disabililty inclusion for Redgate Software's 2024 diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) program. This was a fantastic session for our global audience of technology professionals, with strong engagement from our attendees, most of whom left feeling better prepared to collaborate with individuals with disabilities in the workplace following this event. Working with Mildon to plan this session was straightforward, with an introductory call to scope out the request as well as a followup meeting to discuss impact and reception. They delivered the engagement to a very high standard that exceeded our expectations. I would thoroughly recommend working with Mildon on this type of project, and would have no reservations about working with them again in future.
Toby gave a great presentation at The Future of Work Europe 2024. He was engaging and gave our audience some great insights and take aways. He and his team were a pleasure to work with in the lead up to the event.
As an organisation we continue to work with Toby on supporting our corporate members. Member feedback is incredibly positive on engagement with Toby in his content and professionalism.
Toby was an excellent and empathetic speaker. He was very clear and approachable, and provided us with real everyday examples and toolkits that we can quickly and effectively put into practice to ensure we continue to have an inclusive workspace.
Brooklyns session was clear, concise, thought provoking and action/next step oriented
Brooklyn was a speaker on one of our EDI Conferences. The event was a big, sold out London conference, and she run one of the morning sessions on language in EDI. She is an absolutely fantastic and captivating speaker, and the audience really enjoyed her session and found it really informative and valuable. Moreover, Brooklyn was asked last minute to join our panel session on recruitment, and she did so with no hesitation :) she did a fantastic job there too, bringing a lot of valuable knowledge and perspectives into the conversation. I highly recommend Brooklyn as a speaker for both small and big events, we will definitely be wanting to work with her again! :)
Toby delivered a fantastic Tea and Talk on building an inclusive workforce, which was thought provoking and really well received by staff. The Mildon Team also provide a plethora of priceless insights and resources on a broad range of important EDI topics. It’s been a pleasure to work with them.
Mildon have been exceptional from the start. Brooklyn, Toby and Luis have all been proactive in our conversations and the help they have offered us at St Paul’s Catholic School in Leicester. Luis came to deliver a talk for our school during our Diversity Week and it was described staff and students as a stand out session due to his openness, honesty and humour. Students were impressed with how interactive and thought provoking Luis’s session on disability Inclusion was and this has encouraged us to take an active role in making sure our school is more inclusive. We have been supported by Luis and the team in our endeavours to reach a wider audience of parents in our location and our journey is not over yet. It has never been so easy to work with an organisation. I am so pleased to be in touch with Mildon and I highly recommend their services when it come to inclusion in the workplace.
Had a session with Toby on Psychological safety within my workplace for Black History Month and the presentation Toby gave was both thought provoking and informative. It challenged us as an organisation to work harder at creating that psychological safe space at every level of the organisation. Admittedly its still a work in progress getting to the psychologically safe space but we are beginning to make steps in the right direction. People are considering Toby's words in their interactions which is changing the dynamics in a positive way. Toby's presentation style is laid back and puts you at ease even when you are discussing those hard hitting topics. Really enjoyed the session and it left me with tools to utilise going forward. Thanks to Toby and your team for such amazing work you do daily.
Toby and the Mildon team have been integral to our IED strategy. Toby has offered non-exec style inputs to our leadership meetings sharing lived experience and IED expertise. Creating a safe environment for teams to talk openly and learn together has been excellent through the inclusive growth workshop. The IED audit service is helpful to sense check progress and develop a plan to deliver further change no matter where you are on the IED journey.
Great communication between ourselves and Mildon throughout our experience with them. A very friendly and professional experience.
Toby's conscious inclusion session in June was a game-changer for our team. It was accessible, engaging and insightful, and sparked a lot of conversations about meaningful changes we can make. This session was by far our most engaging event to date, with tons of positive feedback and lots of immediate actions. I highly recommend this session for anyone interested in inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
Toby delivered an incredibly informative and inspiring workshop for our leadership team as part of our quarterly event. We worked together to tailor the content to support the leaderships team objectives, which was an enjoyable and easy process. Toby was engaging as a presenter and made a real connection with the group - thank you for a great workshop and experience!
The Mildon team were great to work with from start to finish. Super friendly and kept us in the loop at all stages. The session delivered was great, and it was so interesting to hear Toby's perspectives.
Great speaker - Leant on personal experiences to bring topic to life and make the session really engaging. Opened the floor to questions too and was very knowledgeable. Lead up to session was also handled very professionally
Toby hosted a 1hr webinar on "Diversity in Recruitment" with over 230+ attendees. The feedback was really positive and people enjoyed the subject matter and particularly the delivery with specific case studies and easy to follow slides. Great speaker and recommend highly. Thanks again Toby.
The team at Mildon came in to run an ED&I workshop for our entire organisation. The content was well considered, delivered passionately and in an easy to understand way and the whole day was received extremely well. The team were only too happy to answer questions and offer support above and beyond what we expected
Toby was and is a great help in bringing real insight into equity and diversity. He has worked closely with many members of our team, offering advice and guidance with empathy and honesty.
I arranged for Luis to deliver the "Everything You Wanted to Know about Disability but Were Too Afraid to Ask" workshop for our company. Luis was a delight to work with and he presented a very engaging and informative session. As we work in the DE & I space, the workshop for us was about expanding our knowledge personally but also equipping us with information that we can pass onto our clients. The Q&A at the end of the workshop was also great and created some really good discussion. If you are looking for training in this area, I would definitely recommend Mildon.
At Hassell Inclusion, we have had the pleasure of working many times with Toby over the years, and he really is an expert in his field of Diversity & Inclusion. He understands and explains how inclusion has many elements and layers, and how they work together. We've experts in digital inclusion, and whenever any of our clients are looking for help with more human aspects of inclusion, such as unconscious bias and microagressions, Toby's always our recommendation. He and the team at Mildon are honest, knowledgeable, and approachable. Whether you call it EDI, D&I or DE&I, Mildon are a great call to help you drive awareness and embed strategies to deliver diversity & inclusion in your organisation.
