Fantastic job, we now have a shiny white bath which has fully transformed the bathroom :) Despite the sizzling hot weather Cecil worked on the bath diligently for a good 7hrs (wow); he explained all the steps he was taking and what we needed to do after he left and also advised on some of our leaky taps haha! My experience of  Mendabath from start to finish was fantastic.  My initial enquiry in July received a very quick response from Grant, and when there was a query in regards to the bath as to whether it had been re-surfaced Grant took the time to ring me that morning and talk through this.  Both him and Lynne could not have been more helpful or personable at every stage of the way.  I very much felt a valued customer, rather than just another booked job. I was e mailed the day before the scheduled visit by Lynne to check this was still alright, and whether I had any queries. Cecil the bath technician was also c.c.d into this e mail which I thought was really helpful.  Clear lines of communication throughout the business, and with customers too. Mendabath were very clear right from the start what they could offer and what they couldn't offer, and that if the bath was delaminating they would not offer to repair but would advise me to buy a new bath.  The Mendabath Technician Cecil was so polite and helpful.  He was also incredibly careful in our house, and after the work there was no "labour footprint". He ended up needing to take our shower door off. He checked and talked through this with us as we would need to put it back.  Small things like putting the screws in a sealed bag attached to the door, and ensuring that where he put the door he put material behind it to ensure that it didn't mark the wall.  Part of the job was also to fix two very small chips to the sink - he was careful to let me know that he would do as good as a job as he could but because the surface area was so small he couldn't promise it would be perfect. I really like people who are honest! When needing to run the fume extractor through our house he again came to ask us how he could do this without it being a problem. The job itself is amazing. The bath looks as new, as does the sink so we are delighted with them both.  I thought it was very reasonably priced, and especially factoring in the lack of disruption and the fact that we now have a good as new bath, and have avoided a perfectly good item being thrown into a landfill.The work comes with a 5 Year Guarantee which is great.  I felt this business was an amazing example of a small company who clearly care both about their workforce and their customers. Every person I had contact with was so helpful, and it was evident they take great care to provide a service they can be really proud of,  and they should indeed be very proud of the service and work they do. The reason for 1 star review is because this company does not honour its 5 year guarantee. 3 years ago we had our bathroom sink resurfaced, the job done was good, a 4 star job. The finish was more matt than shiny but it covered up some marks on the Kohler sink which was about 3 years old. A few months ago, I noticed the sink had taken on a yellow tinge. I called Ian who did the work, only to be told he no longer held the franchise and to call Head Office to sort out. He did say, it probably just needed a polish. I spoke to Grant from Head Office who denied any responsibility and to speak to Ian. As the product belongs to the franchise owner, they should take ownership of the problem. So beware, an ok job, providing you do not have any problems as the guarantee is worthless. I have contacted Trading Standards who have opened up a case against this company. If you have any similar problems, contact TS who will add to the open case.

My cast iron bath was made in 1930,s Grant from Mendabath UK resurfaced it after stripping it back. What a great looking bath. You couldn't buy a new one as nice and with the finish he gave it.Well pleased

Wonderful job done on my very badly chipped bath, damaged by previous house owner. Very professional job. Strong smell lasted about a week, nothing of concern. Only company I found that are confident to give 5 years guarantee on their work. Very reasonable price too.

We had our bath enamelled by this company. We chose them because they seemed professional and they offered a certificate of guarantee.. However after 4 years, the enamel started to bubble up and ultimately started to peel way. We contacted Mend a bath however they refused to honour their guarantee. They sent us a chip repair kit (worth £35) instead so that we could try to fix it ourselves. Not very useful when gradually all the enamel is coming off.

Really impressed with Mendabath UK, from initial enquiry through to the finished job..no mess, very little smell and ready to use again after 24 hours. Had a very sad looking bath, which now looks brand new. VERY HAPPY!!

Mendabath did a fantastic job restoring a badly cracked bathroom basin to pristine condition for us. I was really surprised that it could be made to look so good. The whole experience was excellent. Polite and efficient service beforehand explaining the process clearly to us and then a friendly, efficient and tidy job on the day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their work and service.
