My experience in the 2024 Medicine conference was well organised and informative enough to help with my understanding of UCAT, personal statements and interviews. Even as a GCSE student, the whole experience and this company helped with my approach to medicine. MedicHut is extraordinary for giving this type of experience in a free format for all.
This Medichut conference has been really useful. It was a good 4 hours packed with information and updates for university applications. There was a virtual ward round guided by a year-5 student and it was really useful as we learned about her experiences as well as familiarise with the jobs and tasks. Later, there was a 1 hour session on UCAT and I got so much insight into different strategies to use and ways to tackle questions types and so much assurance that we can always improve by practicing the UCAT under timed conditions. Loved this conference... looking forward to tomorrow's one. Thank you all!
Good detail, but also not too overloading with information At a good pace, easy to take notes, and interactive which is appreciated. Informal and calm, so not too pressuring and easier to understand
I really enjoyed the work experience on ward rounds by Sofia it was so interesting and learning about the NEWS score and the ABCDE checks was interesting and I learnt something new. The case studies allowed to apply this new knowledge to a situation specific task. I was really worried about the UCAT process but Anna explained all the different sections and gave us a question for each topic which helped me find the starting sections to revise.

The time was well structured and really cleared ALOT of my grewt areas if the ucas prep and the process of applying. The lady who was running it was very open and willing to answer all the questions which was really useful and made this experiance really personal
