Highly recommend Matt. I attended group session so i knew a bit how he was coaching. My programme is adapted for my goals and my needs. I can see lots of improvement as i practice some sports as hobbies. Only two months really. But i look forward to continue. The right dose of different exercises . Great coaching and support. I wish i found him before!
Matt is a really great trainer who takes his time to get to know his client’s needs and builds a programme around this. Training with Matt I always feel challenged beyond what I would push myself to in a gym environment, without feeling like he’s pushing me to limits I cannot reach. I would really recommend him to anyone looking for a personal trainer.
Matt is a professional, knowledgeable and down to earth PT. A great motivator, his focus on consistency whilst also making the work different is a truly great skill set - Matt excels at this. I would recommend him to anyone, and wish he had more availability, but clearly he's a popular trainer...
I first used Matt by chance approx 6 years ago and after years of having a gym membership, I'd quickly realised I had been wasting my time! Matt introduced me to a new level of training and to my delight I lost 7kg of fat in a short amount of time - primarily through his carefully structured sessions. You can count on Matt to tailor a fantastic program for you, to achieve your goals. This is all done in a very friendly, highly supportive environment. For me, where Matt is unique is the effort he goes through to ensure you remain injury-free but at the same time ensuring you are making positive gains. Highly recommended - so much, that I'm back for more.
Matt has been a fantastic trainer for me over the last few months. He has a great ability to stretch me each week beyond my own view of what I think is possible while still ensuring a healthy recovery. He has helped me feel a sense of achievement with my fitness and is a joy to train with.

I've been training with Matt for a little over six months and in that time have achieved goals which had eluded for years. The programme he constructed for me is carefully calibrated and builds incrementally over time. Matt has also helped me to recover from a chronic injury which had been holding back my training. He really understands the science underpinning training as well as having an encyclopaedic grasp of the practical aspects. I have every confidence in him and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
As a professional Kickboxing / K1 athlete I was always trying to have an experienced team on my side. I came across Matt through Instagram. I instantly contacted him and I arranged a meeting so we can plan my fight camp. The sessions were structured so well. I was so excited every week for out sessions. I was not only training with him, however I was also learning from him. I have studied Sport Science myself and I always wanted to learn the S&C science too, and Matt was the inspiration for me. An old severe injury made me pull out from the fight and our sessions with Matt. For anyone whos looking general or Sport Specific training, I can not recommend Matt enough. For me its not always the education behind a trainer but also the character someone is carrying and Matt has BOTH. I can only say thank you to him and I hope our paths cross again.
I have been interested in learning how to box for some time. I have started to have sessions with Matt and have enjoyed every minute. Not only is he very knowledgeable but he is also fully invested in your goals. We have been working on correct technique from combinations to slipping and sliding, as well as the strategy behind it and putting it into practice. I feel like I have come a long way in a short space of time. Thanks Matt.
Matt is a brilliant PT. Not only has he helped me improve my health and strength, but he has also taught me about how to maintain this improvement. Sessions with Matt are always fun, challenging and insightful. As a client, you will quickly learn his motto of "Stimulate, don't annihilate!", meaning that he will always push you to do your best but will never push you too far. Brilliant PT. I have been training with Matt for a couple of years. We have moved through several locations as well as "online" and outdoors coaching during pandemic. All throughout Matt has managed to keep me fit and provide tips and suggestions that helped me to transform my lifestyle, fitness and and shape in general. Throughout the time that I have trained with Matt I have achieved and changed and came up with new goals. He has truly extensive good quality knowledge in the field that he keeps up to date and is willing to share. I have truly appreciated his approach to clients by listening, adjusting to needs, abilities and circumstances. In terms of achievements: I have started as a person who spent all my day sitting and found myself struggling up the stairs, hitting point of overweight and just generally being miserable. I started by just getting back some fitness level and later on have lost 15kg, grown pretty useful muscles and maintained all this for now about a year. I can definitely say that being a person who tends to overdo everything and then drop this has been a great careful work on Matt's side.

I can’t recommend Matt enough. I have been training with Matt for 4 years and in those 4 years, he has helped me through many things, we trained for Tough mudder, a long term injury, pregnancy and post pardum and now on a journey back to my ideal weight and fitness goal!! Matt has been my PT for 4 years, and the fact I trained with Matt for 4 years shows how brilliant he is. Matt makes a huge effort to tailor the program to suit you. I hurt my back a couple of years ago (when training on my own) and once I was ready to return Matt changed my program to help me strengthen my weak areas to ensure I did not have a repeat of the issue. Whilst also ensuring we adapted the training plan to ensure I didn’t put my lower back under strain. Matt knows his clients well and he would always push me to go that little bit further, no two sessions were ever the same and I was constantly learning new things. Even during our Covid lock down Zoom PT sessions he ensured every session was different to the last. Matt is a brilliant PT and also a lovely guy! I would highly recommend.
Before I started training with Matt I knew nothing about training in the gym and about using the correct technique (this is how you get 100% results from the exercises). For two and half years Matt was my PT, we started with light weights and in less than a year, I was able to squat 127.5kg and deadilft 160kg in which time I’ve never had an injury. The training was one positive aspect, another one was that he was able to help me with my nutrition and also with a pain/injury, which I had for a very long time from before I started training with Matt. It took him a few weeks to fix it, after each session of training he would attend to my shoulder and a few weeks later the pain was gone and never has it again. Now I could train giving everything I have, feeling more confident and exercising by using the right technique he had taught me. I felt very lucky to have him as my PT.
