63/66 Hatton Garden Fifth Floor Suite 23, EC1N 8LE, London, GB
The most detailed and best designed professional maps whilst offering them at prices far lower than most. Used by 1,000's of architects, surveyors, developers, traffic management companies and many others, Mapserve is one of the UK's most popular professional mapping services."
Couldn’t be easier to navigate through the process to identify the site in question. With the options of ‘extras’ make this website more appealing than the others on the market. Keep up the great work.
Simple to order, plenty of options. It would be helpful though if the selected drawn area represented the maximum area for the price band.
Easy to use and good customer service if you have any questions - I'd highly recommend MapServe.
I find Mapserve really easy to use and the additional information layers are a real bonus for some projects.
MapServe is easy to use due to the simple navigation of the steps to find the site, identify the area required and purchase. The options to add in additional requirements is also very useful and allows you to tailor the requirement for your specific project needs
Maps easy to download and understand, good pricing.
The downloading of maps is a straigh forward operation and can be achieved quickly. The quality is also excellent. I have been using Map Serve daily for a couple of years and have had very few if any problems with delivery.
I wanted the map to be A4, and I have no ideas what it is. Its a png format. and I would rather it was JPeg or PDF.
The user interface was a little confusing but the product quality and pricing was excellent. I contacted customer support and was very impressed by the promptness of reply and the outcome.
Excellent service, competitively priced
good price maps, easy to work site and covers all areas and levels of detail i require
I have used Mapserve for some years as I need to download OS data in CAD format. The site is easy to navigate and easy to select using the polygon tool. Sometimes it can be a pain if trying to pan without having to change scales etc, easier if you have an accurate location when starting your search. We use What3Words for many location services these days, perhaps Mapserve could add that in the search section. All in all a great site.
AVOID - Absolutely useless and not user friendly in any way. The programme that has been designed has some serious flaws in it. The main one is that you cannot delete any single addition to the map, whether that be a boundary line or text without ALL your work being deleted at the same time. The customer service assistant was as helpful as a chocolate fireguard. I asked for a member of the management team to call and explain why you design and market a system for public use when you can't even delete your last actions???? Still waiting. AVOID
I was able to identify and download a large OS extract to CAD on a SUNDAY, and get a whole lot of work done on it by Monday. The interface worked well and it was a unique experience for me to be able to download an OS extract without speaking to someone over the phone. Although I much prefer to speak to a human, I was in a rush on this occasion - so my expectations of getting a 'result' were very low. Will definitely use MapServe again.
Good service from the team at Mapserve. I get all my maps from Mapserve and on the rare occasion there is a problem, they fix it straightaway
We purchased a map recently which proved to be very poor quality and an exorbitant price for what was delivered. The file size was barely above 100kb making for a very grainy and pixelated image. This poor quality image cost almost £25! The customer service was infrequent and also poor ignoring several of the questions asked. The website is clunky and awkward to use. You have to register your details just to view the map. The measurement feature does not work and the ability to select the area appropriate to your needs causes page crashes. You also get a limited number of free views before you have to purchase an overpriced map to carry on viewing which considering the page crashes only adds to the frustration. Overall I cannot recommend this service as for us it turned out to be a highly overpriced waste of time.
