Luxgen Solar are excellent. Last summer I had 10 panels and 4kw battery installed at my house, the communication from the start even to now I cannot fault. I would highly recommend Luxgen Solar Ltd to anyone who is considering going solar. They are a professional and knowledgeable company, and they offer a great product and outstanding service. By way of background, I had received quotes from several other Solar Panel companies but all of them had solutions in mind before attending for a site visit and none of them would offer any form of bespoke design. What I wanted was the option of a Domestic UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) but none of them were interested in providing this tailored solution. Dan and Alex at Luxgen Solar Ltd., however, were able to discuss my particular needs in detail and built a custom solution that perfectly met my requirements. I am very happy with the Solar PV Panels, Batteries and UPS that Luxgen installed. The installation was quick and easy, the installers respected our property and timescales and the ongoing customer service has been excellent. I have been able to save a significant amount of money on my electricity bills, and I am very happy with the decision to go Solar AND Battery. We’ve actually had two power cuts since the UPS went live and it performed brilliantly. Without the App telling me, we would never have known. If you have an electric vehicle, I strongly recommend the MyEnergi Zappi2 charger which interfaces to the Solar and Battery system very well. And, as even modestly-sized system can generate Solar energy in excess of your minute by minute usage, a Battery storage solution is a must - go for the largest battery bank that you can.

5* is not enough to reflect the quality installation, and service we received from Luxgen - I cannot praise this company and its staff enough! Luxgen was recommended to me by a friend of my son and from the moment I made contact with them, I knew there was a reason why he recommended them - Alex who did our quote is incredibly knowledgeable about the product the business supply and was able to recommend a system that will fully meet my needs. Alex & I discussed other quotes I had received from both local and national installers using different equipment, and without being critical of the other installers, Alex was able to explain clearly the advantages of the equipment he was providing (e.g Batteries being warranted for 2x as many charges as a cheaper option). We agreed on a price and specification, settling for a 16 panel system with 14.2KwH of battery storage. Once the order had been placed, I was kept informed of planned dates of installation, scaffolding etc and as promised, the installation team headed up by Dan arrived when they had promised to and began the install. I am fortunate to live in a new-build which meant that the cable run has been concealed in a void which went from the ground floor to the loft, and the batteries and inverter are installed in my loft. We live around 140 miles from Luxgen, and they had a problem with the delivery of some parts - Not a problem however for Dan, as he simply said he would return the following day from Manchester with a roofer to fit the missing parts - which he did. The company has kept in regular contact with me through our 1st week, helping me get the charge settings on the battery aligned to best use the Overnight charging rate of my energy supplier. Despite a projection of around 200KwH for November, we are already over a 1/3 of that and its only been 7 days. I can already see the saving on my electricity bill stacking up - and that's before any export of excess energy to the grid. I cannot fault in any way the service or quality of installation that Dan & the Luxgen team have done - and I am so pleased that we chose you to do this. Now saving up for 2024 to allow for an installation on a 2nd property and have already passed Luxgen's number on to a number of people. Easily one of the best companies on the market if you value honesty, integrity and want a high quality professional service.

We wanted a company that had the relevant credentials to offer independent advice. They were attentive to our needs and explained things in clear and knowledgeable manner. Installation was great with a team that were friendly and efficient. We are very happy with the results.

Dan and Alex have been great to deal with. Professional, considerate, explain everything in a knowledgeable way within confusing a lay person. Work carried out and explained as the job progressed letting us know what everything does. Cleaning site when possible to ensure as little inconvenience as possible. The job has been installed to a high standard and I'm sure that is this level of service is maintained, then the after sales service will be excellent as well.

I already had 12 solar panels and a limited amount of battery storage installed 18 months ago, which saved a significant amount of money with my energy supplier and I knew I could do much better. So I undertook some research about solar and battery storage and a number of companies offered packages that were generic and didn't meet what I was expecting. Alex and Dan visited me at home and we discussed what potential I had for improving my current system, which was tailored to meet all my expectations and more. I now have integrated my solar panels, generator, batteries and even the electric car charging into a simple to operate and control system minimising the need for grid supplied energy. I am impressed by the workmanship, knowledge and enthusiasm they have demonstrated. So if you want to invest in solar they will work with you to provide you whatever your budget will run to and you won't be disappointed. One of my inverters had no power light even though it was only a few years old. Luxglen came out quickly and fixed the problem and I’m now happily generating again.

I cannot praise Luxgen highly enough for their knowledge of solar systems, skill, honesty and integrity. Other companies told us we needed a new inverter (not much change from £2,000). Dan, from Luxgen came and spent some time trying to work out and identify the problem. He was able to replace one small part (lots of change from £100) and our system has worked like a dream ever since. Their concern and after-care has also been remarkable!

Brilliant service received from start to finish. Alex & Dan provided regular updates throughout the process. Fitted 11 panels to pitched & flat roof & 2 batteries. Batteries worth going for as giving sufficient power to run off in the evenings rather than pulling from the grid. Thanks for a great service. What can I say! Brilliant service from start to finish, which is rare in this day and age. Alex, Dan and the team installed our solar system yesterday and we can't fault any of their work. After a rocky start from dealings with another company they saved the day and we are more than happy with the result. Dan and Dave worked hard putting panels on two of our flat roofs, which we thought wasn't possible, and also a sloping tiled roof. They were professional, knowledgeable and polite. A pleasure to have around our home. They pitched up on time, provided solutions to problems that arose (we live in a very old house) with a calm and confident manner. We were kept informed all along the process and would thoroughly recommend Luxgen Solar for your solar installation.

We are extremely grateful for Alex and Dan for putting in our solar system into the house, they are friendly professional and tidy, they were ordered and installed all with in a month, we got phone calls telling us what was happening, and the date we arranged for installation they turned up promptly and started and worked through even though it was raining heavily, we were let down by another company, so I would recommend this firm and we still get phone calls and text from Alex and Dan checking on the system
