LiquidPlanner allows our team to collaborate and manage time on our projects. The ability to coordinate our time over the life of a project can be invaluable.
LiquidPlanner is an aircraft carrier, with about 100 different ways to do everything. Because of this, you need to spend some time defining the workflow that suits your team best. Once you have this done, this tool is indispensable! We use LP every hour of every work day.
LiquidPlanner provides and excellent, easy-to-use, project management platform. LP provides the tools necessary to plan and schedule our sprints and deliver our product releases.
I have been using Liquid Planner for just over a year. I find Liquid Planner to be easier to use and provide more relevant data than Microsoft Project. I also enjoy the online access that all of the team members have. This type of access makes it easy for the team to be aware of the current status.
This product has been great! Four stars on account of our ongoing organization of tasks and projects. Our office is made of mgmt., content editors, graphics, and developers (back-end and front-end). It's been tough to settle on a means to organize items so that we don't get lost in the amount, nor step on each others toes, as plenty of tasks involve team members from multiple disciplines. To do so, we've used filtering but requires one to add filters to each task. Aside from this, tasks are found easily enough, the UI is intuitive and provides some great shortcuts and views. Coming from one that didn't have a hand in researching, nor the decision to purchase, it works well!~
This is a lot better than the previous systems we've used. We've been using it for a while and its been really helpful to our business

LiquidPlanner is a bit confusing and difficult to work with. Some of the filters don't work and navigation isn't intuitive.

Liquid Planner is great to keep track of time and tasks. As long as you keep everything up to date and use the system correctly, it can easily make managing tasks a breeze.
I find liquid planner to be easy to use and manage tasks with. It allows for clear prioritization and time scheduling to know what to work on when. It is also being constantly updated with new features.
We use it all the time to track billing our customers for hours against projects. Love it. Seems a bit slow to respond at times, but that might be our network.
The UI could use work. It often takes too many steps to get to a task. I prefer it over Harvest and connect tho.
LiquidPlanner has saved us a huge amount of time in planning and tracking time against client projects. It provides us with instant visibility of where we're at, how much time has been used/the cost to the client and a great way to provide clients with transparency in terms of what they pay for and what they get from us. It isn't the cheapest tool when you have a few people in the team, but we spent quite a long time assessing the right tool for us and settled on this. 18 months later, we're still sure it was the right choice.
