Claire was beyond wonderful and incredible at planning our whole trip to New Zealand. She asked us a variety of questions and planned our visit around our likes and dislikes. Even the restaurant suggestions were fantastic. We have recommended her to all of our friends and family.

We had a great trip! Our expectations were exceeded. From first contact on our wants and needs were listened to and understood to design the trip experience we really wanted. The time and care taken, by Claire and others, to manage details was obvious and made the trip flow well. Dietary issues were handled well with appropriate and delicious options that were readily available. Support during the trip was always available and itinerary changes due to weather were handled smoothly and effectively. We traveled with Latitude South for our 25th wedding anniversary trip last month. We spent a month exploring Australia and both islands of New Zealand. It really was the trip of a lifetime :) We felt an instant connection with the Latitude South team when we started to plan our adventure. Karen, Claire, and Georgina were absolutely the most professional ladies to work with! We had a few ideas in mind when we first booked the trip, and with Karen's expertise and personal knowledge of the area, she was able to really guide us and create a trip that we were super excited about! Every day was a new adventure, with just the right amount of downtime in between our excursions. Some of our highlights included: Great White Shark Cage Divining in Australia, sand duning and seeing Koalas in the wild, in-depth touring in Sydney! Then onto the North Island of New Zealand where we explored the Maori culture in Rotorua, float planed over some volcanoes, went deep into the native forests and ate some of the most amazing food ever! We took the ferry between the two islands and just had gorgeous views of the Marlborough Sound, got to meet our awesome travel agents in Nelson :), Sea kayaked in the Abel Tasman, stayed in the most BEAUTIFUL tree houses in Kaikoura, hiked in Mount Cook, and jet boated in Queenstown. My husband even bungy jumped - what an amazing experience! Being a LesMills group fitness instructor brought me to explore NZ - and I was able to fulfill my dream of taking classes at multiple gyms throughout the country and of course, downtown Auckland :) I will never forget that one ! I cannot tell you how much we appreciated working with Latitude South, they are TRUE professionals which we now consider friends :) Overall our most exciting trip ever spent -

Every little detail was managed for us, which made international travel seamless and low stress. Our itinerary was a fabulous combination of culture and nature, which is exactly what we were looking for. Claire was extremely responsive to all questions during the planning phase of the trip, all the way to the end of the trip. She made us feel like our enjoyment of our vacation was her highest priority! The trip exceeded our expectations in every single way. Seeing mountains, glaciers, ice bergs, and waterfalls, all on the same hike was amazing! From wine tastings in amazing vineyards, to soaking in hot springs, to hiking in Mount Cook National Park, we were thrilled with New Zealand. While we enjoyed everything we did, our high point was cruising around Doubtful Sound and spending a night on the boat. The waterfalls, the dolphins and the complete serenity of the area have given us lasting memories. We would highly recommend Latitude South to anyone planning a trip to New Zealand!

Latitude South listened to our priorities and executed on what we wanted to see and do. Claire also offered suggestions that enhanced our trip. One of our most anticipated excursions canceled at the last minute and the Latitude South staff immediately pivoted and found a comparable tour. We barely had to think about logistics - Latitude South did that for us - which allowed us to be present in the moments and enjoy our family time. Tours and tour guides were all exceptional.

It was our second time booking a tour with Latitude South, and we will enlist their help for future trips. Karen and Claire were helpful and generous with booking, keeping our interests and special requests in mind. They were also supportive during our stay when we had a challenge with one of our hotels. They provided ideas of things to do in Nelson, which helped us feel like locals. I recommend them to friends and will work with them in planning future trips.

Latitude South coordinated our trip to Australia. We could not be happier about our experience with the team. The experience started with a true desire to find our interests and budget. They designed a trip of a lifetime. The tours and the accommodations they booked were exceptional and absolutely matched the types of things we enjoy. Every aspect of transportation, how to pack, what to expect and options at each location were detailed in the itinerary. The personal attention to our wellbeing during the trip truly exceeded our expectation. We knew exactly what to do in case we experienced any unexpected issues. She even checked in with us along the way to make sure we were ok and having a great time.

Claire really listened to the pace we wanted on the trip. We were able to include the destinations and activities we wanted, while still having time to relax and enjoy our time. Claire with Latitude planned this trip with me like a close friend. Every recommendation turned out fantastic from the hotels, tours and even ground transportation. The amazing folks at Latitude South, whom we have used before, out did themselves. No detail was overlooked on our trip back to New Zealand. They listened to all of our “asks” and still exceeded them. From accommodations to experiences, we could not have asked for more fulfilling experiences that really helped you to understand the place/people/history. I don't really know how to begin to express our feelings towards Latitude. First let me say, that I have never worked with more caring, knowledgable or passionate people in my life. That sounds dramatic but considering our trip was during one the most historic times in our world history, it is warranted. Karen and Claire and the entire staff at Latitude were incredible from day one but it just got better after that. These women truly love and care about their clients and their experience in NZ like no other. We needed to visit our son in NZ on a rather last minute basis. We had about a month to plan and prepare for a trip of a life time which included sharing special times with our son while touring NZ in less than 2 weeks. The crew spent so much time planning every detail to ensure our trip would be memorable including out of the ordinary special private tours and small group tours tailored to our needs. We simply LOVED every minute of our time on a private farm, beautiful boat cruises and special side outings. Every finite detail was attended to and so much more. Once we arrived, things began to change quickly with regard to the virus and Karen and Claire were beyond attentive to our worries and so reassuring and on top of the quickly changing environment. They went BEYOND their roll as travel experts which I was already impressed with and became experts in counseling, hospitality, and crisis management. I can't imagine how they felt when the third call that day came from me with worries and concerns but they never hinted at any annoyance!!! I REALLY can't say how much I appreciated every planning and execution detail of our NZ experience, but their caring and patient handling of these very nervous travelers was beyond the call of duty. If you have the opportunity to see NZ, these are the ONLY professionals I would chose to work with. They are simply the best, know their business, know how to customize to you and truly care about their travelers as family. Dear Claire, It truly was a trip of a lifetime for me. I adore New Zealand and every (and I mean every) outing/tour exceeded my expectations. The groups were small, the tour guides were fantastically qualified, capable, charming and interesting people. In planning the coordination of all these activities for us the details were seamlessly looked after! I’m in awe really how you juggled, alerted us to last minute changes and kept track of us all along the way. People keep asking me if the Routeburn Trek, or Abel Tasman Sea Kayaking, or Fiordland overnight boat cruise, or Otago bicycle tour, or the Siberian Experience was my favorite and I see no reason to place one above the other - each was an awe inspiring delight, accommodations on each tour exceeded my premonitions and found the company of fellow travelers, hosts and native Kiwis gracious and kind. We've recently returned from an incredible three week adventure through New Zealand! From our first communications with Latitude South Travel Company we knew that they would be a perfect fit for planning our time in this beautiful country! We were very impressed with their response time and attention to detail while putting together our itinerary. Our trip was thoughtfully planned out and so well organized. While we were in Nelson, we had the pleasure of dinner with Claire an associate at Latitude South. Such a personal touch, so nice to meet her in person after corresponding via email and phone calls over the past months. We had exceptional quality of service considering all the details involved from accommodations, flights, transportation, rental vehicle, sightseeing and guides in different locations. Throughout our trip they regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was going as planned. They put together the perfect itinerary based on our expectations and our first visit to New Zealand. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend this travel company for anyone who wants to have a great experience as they explore New Zealand. The New Zealanders are so welcoming and friendly.
