OK, so I only bought a couple of brass washer-style discs to fix a lampshade in place - but only these had the right diameter central hole AND disc size to fit. And they turned up really promptly, which suited my impatient nature!

Items arrived in good time (considering the Christmas rush), and the light dimmers are working well, although I may need to find a slightly less bright led bulb to enable a more subdued illumination. Pretty easy to wire into my bedside lamp with a small philips screwdriver and a small electricians screwdriver.
