Really friendly customer service and really helpful on all aspects of the repair. They picked up our faulty machine part, fixed it and returned it to us hassle free at an amazing turn around time costing us minimal machine down time. Really happy with their full package service - will defiantly be calling them first on any of our electrical component issues we have. Knowles Part of the Sentry Group.

We have used services offered by Kontroltek, on multiple occasions. The latest repair was for a Variable Speed Drive that controls Vacuum Pump Motor. All I can say is that the level of support received is second to none! Kontroltek Team is full of professionals. I would like to extend my gratitude to Midlands Branch Account Executive, Sarah Thomas. Sarah is super-responsive and extremely supportive. Always a pleasure to communicate with. Thank You!

I have experienced similar problems to what Gary Hancock, 2022 reported. I sent off a Siemens industrial panel to Kontroltek for them to investigate why it did not power-up. After they had examined it, I received a quote to repair which was more expensive than buying a new panel. So I requested for the panel to be returned. The panel was returned without the power connector & the original packaging - I had explicitly requested that the original packaging be returned. This would be important if I would have to send the panel back to my client / Siemens. The power connector was later returned and then later again some scrap piece of packaging - which was not what I had sent them. All costs were refunded. What also amazes me is the lack of care & attention, quality and the arrogance of the management with whom I spoke. They would never accept that there was anything wrong with their procedures and that losing parts etc - "just happens". I would suggest that their procedures are re-reviewed to make sure that this recurring experience is avoided. I am not sure that they will accept this constructive criticism. If you do send anything to Kontroltek make sure you have taken photos before shipping

As a private individual, I contacted Kontroltek to seek a quotation to service a 12VDC motor, used to operate the anchor windlass on my boat. The motor was still in fair working order but had lost some performance over time. The Regional manager offered me a free quotation and assured me that if for any reason I did not wish to accept the quote, my motor would be returned to me for the sole cost of shipping. The quote I received from Kontroltek was 1.5 X the cost of a new motor, so I declined the work, requested the return of my motor and paid for the shipping. Instead of receiving my motor assembled and working, I received a box of parts with two key components missing, without which the motor was useless. I challenged Kontroltek and requested that they find and return the missing parts. Expecting that they would soon do this, I sent the motor to another company for appraisal. They carried out some minor cleaning and polishing work but could not reassemble and test the motor without the missing parts. By this time, Kontroltek had claimed that all the parts were returned to me in the box. Whereas I had photographic proof of what was received in the box, they have no photographs nor a packing slip to prove their claim. Over a 3 month period I continued to pursue Kontroltek about the missing parts and the fact that they had not reassembled the motor as they received it in the first place which led to the situation of the missing parts.I I was informed that returning equipment in pieces after it has been examined to provide a service or repair quotation is Kontroltek’s company policy. However, at no point was I informed of this policy before handing over my motor nor was I given the option of paying to have it put back together before it left the workshop. Kontroltek also stated that this is "industry standard” but after enquiring with 3 other similar UK companies I found this is most certainly not the case. Eventually Kontroltek told me I should send the motor back to them, which I assumed meant they had found the parts. After weeks of waiting, I yet again received my motor back as a box of parts, now with just one piece missing, and was informed by Kontroltek that they would not reassemble the motor now giving the excuse that someone else had worked on it. I have no doubt that Kontroltek will craft a plausible and polite rebuttal to this negative review. In the end it boils down to being my word against theirs that the parts were lost while the motor was in the Kontroltek workshop and the effort involved in trying to reason with them is simply not worth it. But the fact remains that I began my relationship with Kontroltek in possession of a working motor and ended it with an incomplete box of essentially useless parts. At least the new motor, which I now have no option but to buy, will be significantly cheaper than the work quoted by Kontroltek. Gary Hancock

the Service I received to start of with was really friendly and welcoming, and the quotation I received upon sending my product was prompt and without issues, the issue arises when placing my order, Kontroltek didn't receive it, order sent 7th June which I accept happens its a right big pain but it happens emails go astray, after speaking to a customer service representative on the 16th- I was advised to resend my order directly to her email and that my item is sat on someone's bench it only takes an hour or 2 to get a failure report raised so I will have it back in no time, again advised the same on the 17th and the 18th, on the 18th i was also advised they have reallocated my product to a different engineer and its on their bench and the report will be with me Monday, I have just been advised (now Monday) no updates are available and it will kind of be ready when its ready, Completely unacceptable service!!!

Many thanks for the excellent service we have received thus far from all at Kontroltek. This company far outstripped the service levels of the company we used before them. The manner manner, knowledge, experience and attitude of all the engineering team are fantastic and this level of customer service is clearly replicated across the organisation. Please keep doing what you do and pass on my thanks for jobs well done to all concerned.
