My experience is the same as the last reviewer. I ordered a chopping board, as seen in the FT, about 7 weeks ago. I’m not in a hurry for it, but I can’t get any response from them via phone or email. For the last 4 weeks I’ve been trying to reach them. I’ve had to make a claim via my credit company for a refund. I suspect they are no longer operating as a company but have left their website up taking orders.
Terrible. After receiving 3 knives which looked good, we thought we would order the chopping board and large knife stand. This was weeks ago. No response on email, despite messaging a couple of times. Sad really could be a good company but customer service is awful. Don’t bother is my conclusion. Have requested a refund but have not heard back yet. Not sure if anyone is there?……
My son opened his birthday present (a set of expensive knives) in front of a room full of guests, and inside was evidence of a used knife. I was mortified. This company think that mistake is worth the sum of £23 . The guests are keen to know what happened! I guess none of us will now trust Katto, neither will our friends, family, and friends of family, nor their friends. Infinite.
Purchased 2 very smart garlic crushers for presents both do not crush garlic. Most disappointing. The perforated area needs to be sharper.
Awful experience. Appalling customer service. Ordered a knife as a special birthday gift… next day delivery. Nothing arrived. We needed it for the birthday celebration the following day so called them. ‘Customer Services’ couldn’t get us off the phone quickly enough, said they’d look into it right away and call us back. Nothing. Next day we called twice, left two message & two emails. Nothing. We sent another email asking for a refund. Next day we received a response… basically we’ll refund you. How not to do business. Wouldn’t ever buy or recommend to anyone. Buyer beware!
I've had the Chef's knife for a few weeks now. It's a great all round knife and beautifully made. Holding up very well to date! Will be sure to return for future purchases

Have many Katto utensils including the chef’s knife, scissors and the whetstone. Great pieces of kit.
I bought the Santoku knife and it is brilliant. Sharp, well balanced and I can't wait to get another knife.
When Katto launched their new knife this year I asked on two occasions (on their Instagram feed) whether the blade was made in the UK. It was a genuine question that was never answered, nor is the information readily available on their website. Their reward (which I have just learned about many months later) was to block me, which I am astonished at. I had actually asked my wife to buy me two knives for my Birthday this month! Needless to say, not happening.
Super impressed by the look, feel and quality of my new Rosewood Santoku. Using this as my new everyday knife - bye bye Ikea knives.

I was meant to review this a while ago- I bought a knife at the end of last year. There was a slight mix up with postage/packaging due to some flooding. I received a really thoughtful email, apologising for the delay, and a full explanation. I received the engraved knife, and it's been an absolute pleasure to use. Thanks so much!
Have found the exact products advertised on this website, namely the whetstone, on amazon and AliExpress. Blatantly reselling for a ridiculous markup, please dont engage and go to a reputable site instead. Always do your research.
Absolutely shocking….just under 3 months use having only been washed by hand and generally looked after as instructed and the handle cracked through.
Why does TrustPilot award 4 stars to KATTO, when all the reviews are 5 stars?!?!
Bought a Santoku knife back in October which was excellent, had an issue with a small detail on the handle recently so was asked to send it back down and very quickly after they sent me up a new Knife a few days after having posted it down after it was reviewed by the care team. The customer service is excellent and the knives themselves are great quality.
Recently had an issue with my knife. It was immediately replaced.
I got given a Henry katto knife as a gift Christmas by my twin brother. It was beautifully made. Quality Japanese steel, well balanced, razor sharp, good weight and a lovely wooden handle. The packaging was also sustainable. Highly recommended!
