I'll keep the review brief as I'm a reclusive individual who's only really started coming in since the new store opened. I gotta say that the hosts are friendly, the store is packed full of hobby stuff that I've sunk a lot of cash into and even with recent events there is ample room to get games around the table. Truly a fantastic wargaming store!

Just Play has always been a place to do DnD for me and my friends. And with corona, we naturally expected changes to be made to how the shop runs, given its nature as a place for social gathering. You now need to book a table in advance, these tables are separated and now have large gaps between them; each table is prepared with hand sanitizer and paper towels, and the mask rule is enforced. The shop has always been a cool place to go for warhammer, magic, and DnD, all the staff members have extensive knowledge on the games, and are more than happy to go through it with you, give you tips/advice and generally help you have a good time getting into it and have a good collection of resources, kits, and starter packs to get you started. They also offer food and drink to help keep you going throughout your session, which are now 3 hour slots (my friend books, but they seem to be 3 hours each). The table fee is £3 per person and is definitely worth it.

Great local game store. Excellent customer service. Bookable tables for playing wargames is great idea. Live stock levels on website is great but they can also order in if you want.

As a relative newbie in this field I've visited a few shops and found them to be quite stuffy and elitist. Not so here, me and my son were made to feel welcome and I didnt feel stupid asking questions. This will now be my go to place for all my gaming needs!

The store is excellent and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The store has plenty of room for games, from card games through to wargames. They cater for any type of player, regularly seeing AoS,40k and Bolt Action being played. They always have stock in and, if they don't have the item you want, they will order it for you and let you know when it has arrived. Overall, I recommend this shop to anyone who is into their wargames/card games.
