Ordered a Minelab Equinox 600 and a Joan Allen luxury carry bag. Very quick delivery on the detector and the bag is far better than the official Minelab one. Post purchase I have to say that the Joan Allen Team have been very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended company.

Having previously bought a CTX 3030 metal detector from Joan Allen, I experienced one problem after another with this expensive machine and it was returned under warranty for repair on at least 3 occasions, twice over battery charging issues. Although it is now out of warranty, the battery charging problem was never fixed and it has now totally given up. I asked if they would meet me half way on a replacement charger as they are extremely expensive and they never resolved the issue in the first place, but they declined to do so. I consider that the after sales service could be a lot better.
