Our counselor Eric, a former Ivy League admissions officer, was an incredible asset in this process. He developed a wonderful rapport with my son, who was initially not very motivated to apply to college, and through strategy and essay guidance, helped him gain early acceptance to his first choice Ivy League school. We enjoyed Eric so much we actually miss our sessions with him.

We used IvyWise for both of our children, who went through the college admissions process two years apart, and we’re delighted that they both got into their first-choice colleges through Early Decision. Scott was their counsellor, and he was absolutely fantastic - thoughtful, insightful, and considerate. His guidance helped our kids express themselves in the most genuine way, allowing their unique personalities to shine through in their applications - which is so important for college admissions. Going through application process and what would work for my kid was really challenging and nerve recking. My kid had high dreams and capabilities but needed someone to help her out to reach those dreams.I like how the process was smooth from deciding on a counsellor, meeting with him and setting a plan for Junior and senior year. It helped my kid to stay on track as she tends to be all across the board. We were lucky to work with Mike, he not only helped her to go through the whole process but boosted her mental health and confidence during her ups and down. Mike was always available and highly responsive to her needs and questions and even her doubts that she can't make it through. She made it to her dream college and more . I don't think we would have been able to reach her goal without Ivywise service. It is really worth it to have feedback through roundtable to refine the application. Thank you Sydney for working with us through the process from contract initiation till last phase and providing my kid with tutors when needed and additional hours and guidance for round table submission. The entire IvyWise team was fully dedicated and driven to give our daughter getting into her dream Ivy School (Brown). We went into this fully understanding how difficult it was to get into an Ivy school and did not have any unrealistic expectations. But having the entire IvyWise team behind us I think definitely made a huge difference.

Victoria helped me to write a personal statement and she really kept me on track with all the timelines and all the elements I needed to do- essays, activity list, portfolio and creating a website to show my work in art, music and acting.

My daughters Gracie and Charlotte worked with IvyWise during their senior year of high school. Both girls had a great experience with their one on one counselors and felt that the guidance was invaluable. I also had the opportunity to communicate with the counselor to check in, but I immediately realized it was not necessary. The counselors were engaging and informative and put me at ease with the process. We also found the Round Table discussion very unique with incredible feedback. The girls had the opportunity to have all of the counselors (deans of admission from schools across the country... amazing!) from IvyWise reviewing their college essay. IvyWise is cutting edge on the cusp of everything current as far as college admission and the process. They work with the kids individually to help them focus on their strengths .. they help the children decide on their own. I would 100% use them again if my daughters decide to go to graduate school. My daughters were accepted to the schools that they targeted. They were thrilled. We all were so happy with the outcome!!
