In The Swim was founded in 1982 by a husband and wife team. Customer service was excellent, delivery speedy. I ordered filter balls to replace the sand in my above ground pool. I am blown away by the difference---cleans water better, better flow on my pump, less back washing (haven't had to do it once!!). Already referred a couple people to you.
I left a review when I bought the products. I was disappointed in the fact that with BOGO sale, that I used, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get BOGO with both products that I ordered. Your chat person couldn't tell me either. You have to read the very fine print at the bottom of the email to find out only one BOGO per order.

I’ve shopped with In The Swim over the years without any problems but this purchase was met with a lack of communication. First, the website did not provide any statement that what I was ordering was back ordered. After a week or so without any follow up from In The Swim, I had to call and ask for a status of my order. That’s when I learned it was on back ordered and would be another week or so. That time passed, again, with no status updates. I had to call again and was told it would be in the following day and would ship that week. And it did, but with no apologies and no action by In The Swim to proactively communicate with me. I must say that both telephone representatives I spoke with were kind and professional so kudos in that regard. No issues with the quality of the product (pool liner).

We purchased a commercial grade solar blanket reel. It is funny we got this review in our email today. My husband spent three hours trying to get the aluminum tubes apart so he could assemble the unit. Two of the tubes came egg shaped. He had to beat them with a hammer to get them apart. The box it came in was in good shape so the problem had to be caused by the manufacturer. I do not recommend this item.
The product was what I expected, good quality, and easy installation. A little disappointed with delivery time, was not notified my product had been back ordered, and would ship two weeks from order date, until I called to check, but in the end it was worth it.

I have used Intheswim for many years. They continue to offer excellent products, specifically, the aqua pillsfor startup and maintenance and clarifiers that you can simply put in your pump filter basket. The startup and closing chemicals are extremely effective. The prices are competitive and there are numerous promotions throughout the year. I particularly like the closing chemicals because when I open my pool in the spring, the water is very clear and requires very little effort to bring the pool to a usable state.
I come to this site and have for many many years but I am thoroughly disgusted with your marketing strategy that constantly plays a game of now you pay postage, now you don't; now you pay a service charge, now you don't; now you get a 10%, 15%, 20% discount, now you don't. Get rid of those jerks who set these chaotic "deals" and go with no postage/ handling ever and keep the prices fair enough to cover that cost. Why complicate the whole business. I have come to hate this site!
