I've bought Opus Solid Oak Small Bookcase from them. What can I say, the photos are most likely "photoshopped" as the quality of materials and assembly is poor, not like in the photos: lots of sharp bits (I have almost got a couple of splinters in my skin), bottom shelve is not fully attached to the base, the right side is wobbly as all the shelves. This item should cost much less. It's made of solid wood alright, but very thin, so don't expect much. To be more precise, it is made from small chunks of solid wood. I would consider returning this item if not for the problems with delivery (I expected returning will be a problem as well).

So pleased with my nest of tables. I ordered the nest of tables online a couple of days after placing another o rder and House of Oak were very obliging and contacted me to say that they would deliver all items together. The delivery was on time and the men very polite and considerate. The tables look great and are ideal as side tables for guests or a lamp table and I am pleased with the height. They are heavier than I expected but that is not a criticism at all and they certainly will not be knocked over. I will definitely make House of Oak my first choice for oak furniture in the future.
Excellent furniture, delivered with care at a time that was difficult to accommodate by the company however they pulled out all stops to ensure we got our products, on a day when we wasn’t at work, amazing, would definitely use again.

Very happy with product (bookcase). The delivery men were very polite and followed covid19 guidelines for protection when entering my property. All packaging was removed prior to bringing product indoors so I didn’t have the hassle of getting rid of it.
After months of trying to find that 'just right' piece of living room furniture and wanting to pay that little bit more for something spot on I found the ideal item. It was even less than I was expecting to pay in the end. The searching and wait was worth it. From ordering to delivery I can't fault The House of Oak. My item was unpacked and delivered in a perfect condition, delivery guys very polite. Measurements as stated and quality of wood and workmanship was top notch. Would definitely shop with them again.

the products where great, and i couldnt be happier... however... when we ordered, the online stock tracker said 3-4 weeks for delivery, the order was placed in march. we did not receive the furniture until september. also, and i know its due to covid, but i was left to bring a 4 door wardrobe, two side boards and a chest of draws into the house and upstairs on my own. i assume it was under order for the delivery drivers to not enter the house which i 100% understand, but there was not warning that this would be the case, as i would have organised assistance if there was warning. the customer support communication however was very good in relation to the delay in dispatch and customer experience is overall good
