I purchased a Chelsea Grey bookcase from Hous Of Oak. While I felt the price was a bit much, I am very pleased. It looks great in my dining room and is light and doesn't add too much noise to the room. The delivery wasn't too long and was easy to get fitted in the room.
I ordered a sideboard to match a tv cabinet I had purchased elsewhere. At the point of ordering I was advised that there would be a 10-12 week lead time, which I accepted. They contacted me in due course, without me having to follow up, to arrange delivery. On the day it there had been a heavy snowfall. I rang and left a message to say I would quite understand if they wanted to postpone delivery. In the event the drivers arrived within the designated delivery window. They could not get their van up the hill so I suggested they deliver another day. But no ... the two delivery men carried the three door/2 drawer sideboard up the hill to my house! It was delivered packaged up in cardboard and polystyrene so was undamaged. I was overwhelmed and stunned by such dedicated delivery men. My whole experience of buying from House of Oak (not my first purchase) has been excellent.
