Got a great price on a special bottle. Ordered at 16:15 yesterday, paid for standard 3 day delivery, turned up at 11:00 this morning, less than 20hr later. Couldn't ask for better service.

Checked Trust Pilot review before ordering. Ordering process was simple and received confirmation e-Mail after completing order. Received shipping e-Mail a few hours later. Not strictly House of Malt fault. Parcel force claim delivery attempted 12th June and postcard left where package could be collected. I have not received card. Trying to retrieve item is a nightmare. Redelivery and you get charged £5.50. My order was around £100 I have managed to collect it but it is a lot of trouble. May they should use another courier.

I made my first purchase online. Low threshold for free delivery and it took less than 24 hours to receive the product on a standard mainland delivery. In conclusion, easy and stress free transaction.

House of Malt have become my go-to purveyors of "Drink!" (thank you Father Jack) since I embarked upon my whisky journey last year. HoM have been excellent in their customer service, website presentation, prices and delivery. My palate has only just begun its training, so I can only really speak knowledgeably about my experiences with HoM. My most recent order included a request for The Lakes Elderflower Gin Liqueur as a birthday present for my goddaughter. Unfortunately, there was a breakage before despatch, so Piers contacted me immediately and offered me either a full refund on the item, or a complimentary upgrade to a bottle of St Germain Elderflower Liqueur. I took the upgrade so my goddaughter could try another brand, plus she loves anything Art Deco and the bottle really is a thing of beauty. It's very important to me to be able to support independent, small, family-run British businesses such as HoM. I am very happy to recommend them! If I should find myself anywhere near Carlisle, then I know where I will be heading.....48 Warwick Road. Sláinte!

I did the old fashioned thing and called into this shop (I gather most business is online) after hearing about it at an event. What a fantastic, well presented and enjoyable place to spend a while talking all things whisk(e)y with the knowledgeable owners. I’m an Irish Whiskey lover and the options in this area were pretty scant (although much more resplendent online, I note). However, there was so much more to go at and I left with my first bottle of Japanese and an unusual 10 year bourbon. So new experiences await when the week ends and a well deserved drink is poured. I’ll be back. Fantastic place and people. Top job.

Popped into the shop while driving back up north from a recent holiday trip. I ended up buying two bottles, a bourbon and a single malt that was recommended to me. I’ll definitely find a reason to drive down to the shop more often when I’m near the border. Thanks again.

Confirmation of sale received 3 days ago stating 2-3 business days shipping. No confirmation of order being shipped received. Worryingly, no-one is answering their phone line and their voicemail service can't accept any more messages. Is anyone still checking these?!?

From what I remember it took several attempts to get the page to get the sale through. I think it arrived quickly. The message option as it was a gift was nice, however, this too had to be retyped a few times and began losing its charm.

I have used this company twice now and found them to be brilliant, quick and their website easy to use. They have a points system which you can use on further purchases.
