Not great customer service, I purchased a nail grinder which frightened my dog, was never used and returned for a refund, I sent a letter beforehand asking if I could return the product back. I then sent back, I received an email saying they were returning back to me as there is nothing wrong with it!!!! Would not recommend
I bought some Andis Clippers from Groomers when i got them i got Covid and then developed long Covid I had these clippers less than 3 months they never worked i contacted a Mr Murphy, and he sent me a pre-paid envelope, and i sent them back , what happened i tried to use them and the part where you fit the blade kept seizing up, so when i sent them back he returned them and said there was nothing wrong with the clippers, he said if they seize up again get a flat screw driver and push it back , who wants to pay £300-49 pounds for something like that, this company needs looking into, but i have,nt finished yet after reading these reviews something has to be done. I am a pensioner , i maybe old but i am not dead yet...and i am looking into it, it,s against the law to sell faulty goods and when i returned those clippers he said they are fine, they wont even shave my dogs , they just don't work,I will be asking for a coplaints form first.
So disappointed with this company. It started off really well, but that was in receipt of my order and of course my money, after that the poor customer service and lack of understanding was apparent. Highlighted even more so by the first class service and treatment experienced by a major competitor. Sadly no repeat business from me with this company!
I ordered a blaster holder in readiness for opening a dog grooming salon from home. The description advised it would fit 'most' blasters so I tried it as soon as it arrived to make sure. Three months later when I came to open l realised it didn't fit onto my groom table as it's too deep. I emailed to return and they sent a return form. When I asked if I would be reimbursed for the postage as it's very heavy and would be expensive to post they changed their minds and said it was too late. I explained that in my defence, the product description was misleading and should state that it doesn't fit all tables. Had it done so I would have checked before ordering. I've noticed since that other websites selling similar products go to great lengths to point this out before you order. I asked for their complaints procedure which they're obliged to provide by law and I'm still waiting. Not impressed and wouldn't use them again. They should at least have had the decency to admit their product info is misleading.
I’m surprised at the bad reviews. I rarely do trustpilot ones but I was so impressed I needed to write one. I wanted an item before Xmas and my Own fault I left it too late. I looked everywhere trying and none could guarantee Xmas delivery. I know groomers had suspended their next day due to current postal situation with delays so I just placed my order expecting after Xmas I placed the order after 12pm which is their cut off for sending the item out the same day. My item was just delivered to me now not even 24 hours since I ordered. I am so impressed. I had other items I was planning on getting and they were in my Amazon basket but I’m now just going to order from groomers.
Gosh where do I start ! I phoned to get advice for some clippers I wanted to purchase for my triple coated collie. He told me what would suit his coat and when I bought it it wasn’t fit for purpose, in fact the cheap ones I bought from Lidl’s were far superior to these ! I then emailed, sent text, phoned, could not get a response or advice as to what to do. I finally got him in the phone and he said I needed another blade which I then ordered thinking that would help but the blade wasn’t suited for the clipper, in fact the screws weren’t long enough and it wouldn’t fit on the clippers. The box came with a crack and then he accused me of putting it there. He gave me 10% off in the first place because it had a crack. I then asked for my money back as he had given bad advice. Firstly, the clippers took 3 weeks to arrive and he would not give me a refund because I only had 2 weeks to return them….he said the first one he sent got lost in the mail !…yer right…they do this so they can’t be returned. He then accused me of using the additional blade I bought which was impossible as I couldn’t even screw it on the clipper. After spending £200 on a clipper and blade thinking I will save money by not going to a groomer, the clippers are absolutely useless. I’m in Universal Credit so it really hurt. These guys are cowboys, nothing more than taking your money and not caring about their customers. Don’t even think of using these guys as they will do nothing but disappoint you.
Excellent service and good prices. I ordered several grooming products from this company. The order was delivered the next day by Fedex and all items were carefully packaged. I was really happy with their service. I couldn't understand the negative reviews on here but then realised that there were only 6 reviews. I googled Groomers online reviews and saw that there were over 7000 reviews for this company with a rating of 4.75 out of 5. That makes more sense. I will definitely order from them again and would recommend them.
Very bad service! Used this company for years yet for the last 6 months, you would think it was a completely different company! Placed an order Saturday 12th June, it said payment failed. I tried again, payment 'failed' again, only to check my bank and see the money had been taken TWICE! Yet the order was still listed as payment failed and incomplete?? I contacted my bank who instantly reimbursed me! I will NEVER use this company again, they cannot even be bothered to reply to messages! Disgraceful, the company has gone MASSIVELY DOWNHILL! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Go straight to Christies Direct and place an order quickly and efficiently, with no stress! I used to spend about £600 a year with Groomers, never again! Company should just close and save everyone the trouble.
Zero communication. Don't answer the phone, chat, or email. After writing this I did get a call back and they explained they only answer recorded voice messages. The item which was ordered did arrive swiftly. Still think that good communication is vital however.
Lacking customer service skills in bucket loads! Bought a dog dryer, received one that had been used, dog hairs in the filter and at the bottom of the box a handwritten note from the previous customer stating they'd used it but it wasn't fit for purpose. So not only are they terrible at responding to customer concerns they have no quality control. Today I received a refund after being told they would send a replacement, no email to explain why, just a refund. I've been waiting for a dryer which was never going to be sent, all the while I could have bought my own replacement. Pros - they arranged collection of the dryer, I was very happy with this service as it caused minimal disruption. This was the first and last time I'll order from them.
horrible company , got problems over a month ,not returning money for faulty clippers , just keep sending same one and saying that nothing wrong with them, avoid this company!
They are all right for ordering mainstream brands, but their own products are cheap and nasty. I bought a conditioning spray from them that was marked as 'flammable' on the container, and stank of solvent -- something I'd never risk spraying on an animal. I complained about it and was told the ingredient in it was methylated spirits, something that's harmful for both human lungs and dogs if it's sprayed in the air, and is highly flammable, and that I could only return it if I hadn't opened it and they would only partly refund me. I also bought a shampoo for black dogs which started off black but turned green and developed a horrible sulphurous odour and had to be thrown away. The other shampoos and conditioners I bought from them didn't have that problem, but the results from using them on the dogs were poor and the shampoos they recommend for particular breeds don't seem well suited to them in reality. They seem to market a lot of gimmicky products like a shampoo for 'poodle crossbreeds', 'creative grooming' products, and dog 'fragrances' rather than concentrating on good functional products that do their job. I'd recommend paying the difference and getting the professional quality products from somewhere like Christie's Direct or Professional Grooming Supplies.
Poor customer service not impressed!
