I have only just joined the governing body at YMR. However, I have previously been a governor at another primary school for 8 years and was also a member of a temporary governing body in the creation of a new primary school. Whilst I have attended one meeting, I found it to be very professional with an official interpreter (welsh-English). I had a warm welcome from the other governors and the head teacher. I felt included and that my opinion and views were valued. The communications between the school and the governors has been excellent so far and the ethos of the school is one where I feel my son will have the best educational experience that he can.
Excellent service dedicated to meeting the needs of Governors required to discharge their duties effectively. Knowledgeable service based on years of experience access to legal advice if appropriate, their seminars and training excellent and valued by those who have accessed their services. Value for money highly recommended. This is the service Governors and their Governing bodies need. Highly recommended.

Great start! Our membership of GCS has been useful this year. Looking forward to the service growing. Some minor points - it would be great if the bulletins were formatted a little better, maybe with titles, pictures links to relevant support docs maybe. The central South bulletin is nicely formatted and it makes it easier and more inviting to read. Looking forward to maybe some more events or learning opportunities for Governors next year too.
