Quick delivery which much appreciated as for a friends 50th birthday present. It’s an XL chimnea, perfect size and love it. Similar to one I have had for years but has now broken so will probably order one for myself too now I’ve seen this one. Really impressed about lack of packaging - especially for something so breakable but shows it can be done!!! Pricey but hopefully quality will shine through!

The bench arrived very quickly, was well packaged and delivered by a very pleasant young man. We haven’t assembled it yet, but it looks straightforward, and the oak tree back looks amazing. Thank you very much Mrs Renée Joyce

Just purchased a gardeco azteca chiminea. Great product, received very quickly and delivered by one of their own drivers, even tho purchased from a third party. Obviously delivered with care as only wrapped in cellophane. Followed the curing instructions and now enjoying a cosy evening by the chiminea and no doubt many more to come. Not cheap but you get what you pay for........ Quality and great service. Highly recommend.

Waited in all day on the day they promised delivery of an XL Chiminea. No delivery, no call, nothing. The email said between 09:00 and 17:00. Just after 17:00 I called and there was a voicemail that didn’t take messages. Next day I miss three calls before 09:00 and find a voicemail when I woke up saying ‘I’ve left it outside your gates near a bush. I walk out to the road to find it next to the bush, without a box! This was a present for somebody and having no box is less than ideal for transporting it to them. I returned the missed calls from the driver and he explained he was stuck 100 miles away in traffic yesterday, though clearly didn’t see fit to call me. I called Gardeco to complain about waiting in all day, then receiving something roadside without a box. The representative said that he’d talk to his manager. After doing this, he came back and said ‘sorry, there’s nothing we can do… except say sorry’. Companies with poor service like this, deserve to fail. Of course there was plenty they could do, other than acknowledge a mistake. They just weren’t inclined to think in a customer-centric fashion.

Avoid this company I purchased a product from them that was faulty. I called them they said take pictures and we will send another one out. Never received it Have emailed them numerous times Most times the voice mail says " Unable to take your call " When someone answers they promise to sort - Doesnt happen AVOID

After 46 days with my no response back to an email or voicemail, I am far beyond angry. This customer service is not acceptable and maybe you should consider whether you ought to run as a business. What is shocking is that we’re not the only customer to be ignored, Trustpilot has quite a few angry customers with similar issues which you’ve failed to respond to. Your website clearly stats that the Chimalin range comes with a 5 year guarantee which you should have the decency to respond to all customers where they have/are facing an issue with a Chimalin product. If you can’t be arsed to deal with customers, don’t run a business. I would say I look forward to a response, but since I’ve not had one in the 46 days I’m not going to hold my breathe. Potential New Customers - Beware or Run! Traders - You may also want to run!

I had my previous chimenea for 20 years and after it cracked in a house move I bought the Gardeco Timor in mottled grey. I placed sand in the base and started with small fires to season it. Very soon it cracked. The grey paint was not heat resistant and began to turn brown; bubble and peel off. When lit, tarry streaks appeared where the chimney met the body. Having been undercover all the time I have had it, I uncovered it today to see that the paint had turned to dust and upon washing it I uncovered substandard, cracked clay which had been patched up and painted over. The dark streaks I suspect were from some kind of glue to fill in the cracks which were apparent under the paint . For the price of the item, it is shocking. How a hugely substandard item can be patched up; painted and sold for £200 is utterly appalling and just how quickly it deteriorated reflects the quality.I am hugely disappointed and cross with myself for being taken in by spending such a large amount of money on it.

Well I wish I had read these reviews before buying. CHiminea arrived cracked and was promised a new one by Isabel Harris. Now no one will answer my call or emails. Fraudsters.

Very bad customer service. Bad communication. Ordered chiminea. after 2 weeks i had to call I was told it is on the way I should receive by the end of the week. Nothing received. Called again I was told it is with courier but we will check and call you back. No one called back. Called again I was told the order has been cancelled as out of stock. After 4 weeks of placing the order and given conflicting massages I found the order had been cancelled. I received no refund yet. Most of the time they don’t answer the phone Please avoid. Discussing service

I ordered a chiminea in early March which was in stock. I emailed and phoned them numerous times to find out when it would be with me. Eventually had a response they promised to deliver Monday never turned up then it was Friday that didn’t happen. Each time a different excuse so I gave up and asked for a refund. I think they only care about their main retailer customers and shouldn’t sell to the public.

Bought a chimenia at the beginning of 2020. After it finally arrived I set it up and followed the instructions, I have had chimenias before. I noticed after a couple of weeks it cracked all the way around. It took months to get contact from them. Finally in about June they said they would replace it. 2 months later nothing after telling me it would arrive within a week. I kept contacting them only to have another person say that all chimenias crack and this is perfectly normal. It has now totally fallen in half. STAY AWAY, they do not take any responsibility for what is a poorly made product. I will have to take my case to trading standards. Very unhappy.

Ordered a mexican clay chiminea which arrived broken in the box The delivery company all but threw it off the back of the vehicle no wonder it was broken. Took photos and emailed Gardeco straight away,to be fair I had a response that day saying do I want a refund or replacement. That was the last contact I received no end of emails and phone calls all to no response.Had to get refund off Paypal in the end very disappointed

Ordered Mexican Chimnea and delivery came a week later with cracked top. Contacted customer service, sent few pictures and week and a bit later got new Chimnea delivered. I think company is small and trying their best in these times. Wanted to recommend them, due to several negative feedback I found on Trustpilot.

Ordered a chiminea from them and several weeks later i'm stil waiting. Contact is impossible as no one answers the phone , nor respond to emails. Would not recommend due to the poor service.

I bought a gardeco Clay chiminea in May, followed the detailed instructions meticulously only to discover it has fallen apart, £143 later! The company seem to be happy to absolve themselves of any responsibility. Steer clear folks after sales very poor in my experience.

I had exactly the same disgusting experience of this company as the reviewer before me. I bought a 4 Elements Clay Chimenea from Amazon and it cracked within a week. I contacted Gardeco to request a replacement, and they asked for images of the problem. The email I received from them was curt, but I decided to ignore this and sent them the requested images in the hope that they would come good on their obligation. The email reply I received, after waiting 5 days, was a complete load of utter nonsense. Apparently the defect in my chimenea was my fault. I had mistreated it, causing "thermal Shock" and "water damage". Amazon have agreed to refund my money and take it up directly with Gardeco, but from now on I will never buy another product made by this cynical company

Do not buy a Gardeco clay chimenea. I bought one from Chimeneasonline.com and followed the long, explicit instructions to the letter. After the first fire it cracked and broke into 3 pieces! I sent photos to Chimeneasonline, who conversed with Gardeco, who claimed that I had over fired the Chimenea and caused "thermal shock". Therefore it was my fault and so would not replace the faulty, broken chimenea. My last chimenea was bought from Homebase and lasted 7 years. The Gardeco chimenea lasted one night. Do not buy clay chimeneas from Gardeco... it will crack and break and they will not replace it.
