Brilliant value for money

I've been meaning to leave this review since NYE but honestly I haven't done a great job of holding things together since my dear mum passed. So mum passed at Christmas time just gone, it was a shock for me as was unexpected but for my 6 year old he took it very badly as my mum was his favourite nana that he saw a few times every week when we'd visit.. He grew up with her. Anyway knowing how much he loved fireworks I told him that we'd make a big display in the garden to commemorate the loss of his beloved nana and hopefully this would distract him. I spent what I could afford on rockets etc which I thought is quite alot around £230. I'd never purchased fireworks online before and settled on Galactic not only because they're website is great and I love how they give reviews etc of what is being sold, but also because they seem like a nice bunch of people, a family business and I felt that they might treat their customers a bit like family... I know business is business etc but when your purchasing something, you want to feel like your being looked after right. That's why when making the order I thought given the situation and how great these guys seem, I explained that I spent what I could yes it was already a reasonable amount but I said I'm hoping to really show my 6 year old a whoppa of a firework display... Almost as if we're reaching to the heavens to say goodbye to his nana Kate... Would Galactic kindly feel like the gesture of adding something to give the display that extra bit of bang. Well the fireworks arrived, the delivery guy was really friendly... But dissapointingly I found nothing extra added by Galactic. Stupidly I'd built the hype up with my son so you can imagine we were all feeling a bit deflated. Yes I know that Galactic had no obligation to add anything extra so they didn't do anything wrong, but I just felt that they would care about us... more than any other firework retailer. I did send an email and 2 Facebook messages before NYE prior to the order was packed etc and after NYE.. But every message was ignored. Well that's about it. : Thanks James at Galactic for replying to my review. I understand that leading upto NYE is a very busy time for you but I also received no reply to my messages made after in early January. Sadly the fireworks we bought didn't provide any tribute to mark the loss of my little boys nana. Of course the initial dissapointment was there which I already explained earlier, but unfortunately there was no funeral for us to attend as this was cancelled and out of my control. So my boy has never had an event to help him get closure. I don't know whether you'd have added anything extra to my order or not but I'd like to think so. With that in mind I've been storing the fireworks in my wardrobe until I could get around to writing this review and to give you guys the opportunity to make good if you just didn't see my messages but would have added some kind gesture to my order if you had seen the messages. You can find my details under order 13447 incase you did want to add anything, it would be very thoughtful. I was thinking to save all of the fireworks until later in the year to mark 1 year that mum passed, I'll ask my boy what he thinks would be a fitting tribute for his favourite nana. Your site is easy to navigate, view and everything from adding to basket through to final checkout. I've been buying from Galactic for two years now and it offers everything I need.
