Called me after I had applied for a job then simply hung up on me when (I assume) my answers weren't satisfying to them. Very disrespectful.

1 star is generous. Totally useless recruitment company. Dealing with a Guy Called Elliot who has no idea about customer service.

Bogus contracts, they just want your info and they never get back to you.

AVOID THIS COMPANY (if you are a contractor) The value of the contract you are signing is ZERO, it has no value for yourself. Basically you have all the responsibility but in return you have no garantee you will actually get to do work and won't have a garantee that you will get paid. The agent doesn't provide you with any information when and where you need to be and which is the contact person, etc.I have lost a solid position with a lenthy contract and have been convinced to resign and currently I don't have a contract because of G2. The agent is very agressive in the approach into getting you on board and promises you the world but that is not the case. I have been informed that the job is canceled because the end client "lost the project" after the start date and would not get any compensation for the time lost and the job stability that was sacrificed. All the positive reviews are given by G2's recruiters and they are fake positive reviews it seems.

Totally agree with all the negative reviews here! If you ever think of leaving your current job and signing a contract with this agency consult a lawyer first, otherwise you risk to become jobless...they have so many clauses in the contract which cause a significant imbalance in their favour, basically they are not liable for anything!

Martin Shields is too be avoided. Totally unprofessional and frankly insulting to potential clients both employers and people looking for work

I used to consider G2 as being one of the better agencies. For a few years, the only emails I receive are for irrelevant roles, and each time, I explain the sorts of roles that would be suitable, yet I am still receiving unrelated roles, which anyone glancing at my CV would appreciate. It is a great shame, but there are good agencies, so the more people vote with their business with poor agencies, the more likely we are to improve the quality!

Avoid! Received a call regarding a position which suited my down to the ground with one of their clients. After a little bit of negotiation, I was through for an interview. In my opinion, the interview went well but I understand that not every candidate is successful. Received a call from Martin Shields from G2 the morning after the interview for an update from myself on how I thought the interview went. From there, I heard absolutely nothing. No feedback as to why I wasn’t successful. Just completely disappeared off the face of the earth. A few weeks later, I received an email from a guy called Robbie at G2 with a position I was far from qualified / experienced to do, but saying my profile matched! SCAMMERS. Absolute SCAMMERS!

Very Dodgy, tried to extract as much info as possible, i get emails all the time with fake names, everytime i get an email its from a different person and this has been going on every 2 weeks or so for two years. The one time i did speak to them, they tried to get managers names, rates, how big the team is, who is in the team about everything they possibly could, i refused to answer as they refused to let me know the name of the company they are reaching out to me for. to which i was threatened, and reminded that 'we are in your city, you know'. I'll keep a look out for the G2 Thugs with bats! terrible, terrible company. Go with reputable firms, which consistent people, and that dont ask the blood group of your team members.

They keep calling only to extract as much information about other businesses with no intention of offering a real position.

this is the worst recruitment company in the world. They contacted me about an engineers position in Scotland.I expressed my interest and 6 e-mails later they do not have the manners or the decency to reply.I have asked them to take my details off their data base and never contact me again. They should be struck off and not allowed to continue ripping people off.

People, I had dealings with this company a few years ago. They were not a recruitment company but a recommendation company and hence do not pay you directly which they do not make clear. When you sign up for roles they offer you have a lot of paperwork to sign which should have rung a few bells with me, but it appeared that the consultant was not aware of these arrangements either. Ultimately the company I was contracted too went bust and I wasn't paid for any work I did. When I asked G2 about this they said that I should have had a solicitor examine my contract with G2 and do a credit check on the company I was contracted to to assess any risks of non payment. Mr Gorfin, one of G2's directors also has fingers in Vivid Resourcing I gather and it might even be that G2 still operate this system and employ the same method of hoodwinking Clients for Vivid so be very wary of doing "business" with them.

AVOID THESE SCAMMERS - THEY DO NOT PAY YOU!!!!! I did a contract for them awhile ago now, and 3 months on they still have not paid.

AVOID these people. They are not professionals at all. They take all your details and vanish. Had one experience with a "recruiter" and it was horrible. They look more scammers to be honest. Even the person who first answered the phone, does not even how to deal, handle phone calls. Shame!

Applied for a job with advertised through them some time ago. The recruiter knew my employer already but trusted the conversion we had would be confidential. A week after I had the chat with them and after letting them know the roles they had were not suitable for me, I was fired by my boss, no real reason or explanation. Only person was your recruiter - tipped off my boss to then fill my position? Will be taking this further...

Incredible rude agent on the phone. Didn't react well to questions about the role then proceeded to hang up when he didn't like the questions I asked. Call was taken 17/05/2018 at 16:50 regarding Birmingham Inventor Contract roles and would recommend avoiding in the future. Very unprofessional behaviour.

Wouldn't stop calling the office and sending over rubbish CV's despite clear instructions to stop the harrassment.

TO 11 July 2014, 14:35

G2 Recruitment has sent me so many totally irrelevant CV (not even the right industry) and the staff is rude and don't care if you ask them to stop doing this. Expect lots of irrelevant mass mailed emails if they get your CV. Latest mail said: 'please refrain from calling in. If the cv matches the above, I will get in contact ASAP' - not exactly what you expect from a recruiter that claim to be professional, really just a bunch of sales people or CV pushers.
