Fareham Wine Cellar was established in 1991 and is active as a retailer, wholesaler and importer of wines and spirits. The professional and knowledgeable sales staff is always available at the wine shop to provide information on wine and food matching, suggestions for anniversary, christening or wedding presents and any general wine inquiries. There are also regular wine tastings and wine dinners throughout the year.
Dominic replaced an order that the cowboy outfit APC couriers left on my doorstep the first time round. Despite paying for a signed for service APC literally abandoned the first order on my doorstep 4 FEET from the street! Dominic replaced this promptly and with excellent communication in the interim. Sadly APC couriers left the replacemt parcel on my doorstep again despite Dominic issuing a separate instruction for them not to do so. Luckily my wife was in the garden and heard the doorbell. By the time she got to the door the driver had driven off. If she wasn't there no doubt this replacement order would also have been stolen from the doorstep. Whilst Fareham Wine Cellar gets 5 stars. APC are hell bent on damaging Fareham Wine Cellar with their cowboy practices.
Very good communications from Dominic, who was also able to make a slight adjustment to my order before it was sent out for delivery. Wine delivered the following day. First class experience all round.
An excellent ordering/delivery experience. Easy to navigate website, fair pricing and prompt, securely packaged delivery. I was kept informed throughout the transaction and a vintage change due to bin end was arranged painlessly. I wish all online ordering was ths smooth.
