Steve did a snagging report on my new build 3 bed house. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable - cannot recommend him highly enough. From cosmetic issues to safety issues, everything was covered.

Steve did an amazing job spotting things I would never have thought to look for. Fortunately the snagging report was pretty good for our property, with no major issues found. Which was a big relief and gave us the peace of mind we were looking for. Steve is very friendly. We spent a lot of time chatting. He told me a lot of interesting things about how my house had been constructed. For example, we have double damp proof coursing. Not only do I now know we have double damp proof coursing, I know why we have it. His snagging report followed a few hours after he'd completed the inspection. It was clear and easy to understand. He also attached a couple of videos. The tone of the report was really good too. I think this is important when handing a snagging report to a house builder, and our site manager seems very responsive to the report we gave them. Had it been confrontational and/or aggressive, I doubt we'd be on such good terms with them. He's also been in touch a couple of times post inspection to show me examples of other new builds where the issues in our report had been implemented correctly, so we have something to compare against. Whenever we move again, I'll be straight on the phone to Steve to book him in.

Steve was friendly and explained the process to us. Explained any snags found. His knowledge of persimmon homes helped and what should of been done. The job was not rushed. He did ours and our sons house on the same day and found lots of things we wouldn't. We got a full report and photos which has helped us get the snags rectified. Highly recommend Steve.

If you are looking to get your house professionally snagged I would 100% recommend Steve Duggan! Such a lovely guy, he even drove down from the Midlands to Kent, which is roughly around 3/4 hour drive! We were cautious when booking a snagger, weighing up the options whether it was worth the money or not - I can now say it definitely is worth every single penny! The snags that he has picked up are amazing, we would never have found some of the things without him - especially one being a CML Fail! We received everything within 48 hours, he was even kind enough to drop us down two hard copies on photo paper as he was in the area! Even the site manager was in awe at the things he has picked up and mentioned to us for the price we have paid for the snagging, he is definitely worth getting in!

Let’s start with a simple, easy to understand and clear headed review… WOW!! I was browsing a website (Facebook I think) and by chance came across FabSnagging and once I sent that first message little did I know that I was making one of the best decisions I could have done when it comes to buying your first home and a new build also. Straight away I could tell Steve was genuinely wanting to help my partner and I through the difficult streets of purchasing a new build home. When I first saw the price list I was dubious but 30 seconds after Steve left I knew it was money VERY WELL spent. Steve arrived on time with “Bruce!” And was polite and respectful of not only our home but our level of knowledge and therefore guided us through every step of the way even if it meant him getting back home later. Without Steve we would not have anywhere near the amount of snags not only identified but currently being worked through and therefore our home would not be up to standard. Anyone thinking about getting a home snagged stop thinking and book Steve because it’s not only going to blow your mind what is found but your piece of mind will be well worth it. I Found Steve at Fab Snagging through a New build Facebook group, and i am so glad we did. Reasonable clear costings, a thorough walk through finding snags i wouldnt of dreamt of finding. Thermal imaging, pictures and a very clear discussion of any faults found. Steve is a lovely warm gentleman who explains things in a precise clear way to even the most uninformed of persons, me! The report was sent that night via email and a printed copy arrived 2 days later. I would happily recommend FabSnagging for any new build buyers, it gives you the peace of mind for such a large purchase and also allows you to send an email copy of the snag report straight to the customer care team at your house builders office for them to get working on straight away.
