Shame I couldn't give this company 0 stars. I signed up on January 27 to help promote the St. Petersburg Distance Classic, to be staged a few weeks later, on February 12. Their promotional material suggested their mailing list consisted only of subscribers who opted in. There was also info suggesting that they could deliver to a highly targeted audience. So I signed up to have 5,000 emails sent out to opt-in subscribers who live within 3 miles of our start line, hoping for a last minute boost. What did I get for my $300? A total of 674 email opens, a pitiful open rate of 13.5% and just 62 clicks, slightly less than $5 per click. While I understand there is no guarantee when it comes to any marketing campaign, it would have been better to spend $30 a day for 10 days at Facebook to increase my last minute marketing. I have requested a refund, but true to form for this rip-off company, they have refused.
Absolute pain in the backside. Tried to add one listing to a local news website and have subsequently been bombarded with spammy emails from Evvnt. "Reply with UNSUBSCRIBE" it says in the emails. This does not work. Have had to add my own filter to send them to spam. Luckily while clearing my spam folder I spotted this invitation to leave them a review. Well, here you go. Avoid!
Free Event Calendar Listings: Your system doesn't properly allow for Free Listings of the same event at multiple locations within a single (or multiple) DMAs. Must adjust or change the Event Name &/or address to bypass your system lockout/intentional omission of "duplicate" Event entries and thereby create Event Listings at additional locations. When dealing with Free Event Calendar Advertising at any Company or Publication utilized with paid advertising, duplicate events should always be allowed. How else will Tourists, Visitors & Others find out about the Event unless shown/visible and available on the various Event Calendars?
I have been working with Evvnt for many years and in many different roles. Whenever there is an event in the company I work for or represent, I usually suggest Evvnt as part of the marketing mix. After we publish an event in Evvnt platform, we see clear jumps in registrations. The team is very nice and responsive, platform is user-friendly and cost x benefit is also great.. All in all, totally recommend it!
Absurd pricing for what they offer - The sites my events are going to no matter if on premium are non relevant - we receive very little amount of clicks for 400$ it was robbery
I've found the service useful and innovative. Not that they just help to automate event management like many other event management systems but they help to drive the sales. That is a key expectation from the channel.
Great service
We tried using Evvnt on two occasions. On both occasions terrible. Only to realise they advertised our London, UK events on mock websites based in New York such as Event Yard that I has never been heard of in making you believe you're getting value for money. Sadly, those websites don't exist anymore...no surprise. They tout themselves as a network partner with over 2500 event publishers of which 95% I have never heard of, and they very rarely include known event websites. In addition what did get listed did not have active URLs to convert readers into sales, yet their internal dashboard claims there have been click-throughs. I have emailed on multiple occasions the team members (mainly Loui D & Craig B) to be removed from their mailing list. Even got a reply for the CEO Richard Green saying this is confirmed. Yet...I still get emails. I even had two friends who have used them recently in the past and complained of them too. If you look carefully all other positive reviews they were written years ago using inactive user accounts whom have only 1-2 reviews to their name. Highly recommend avoiding this company.
Our event (wildlife charity) ended up totally sold out (nearly 600 people!) which we really didn't anticipate when we first started publicising. Connor couldn't have been more helpful and efficient, it felt like he really understood the event and how we wanted it publicised. Also fantastic to see the analytics post event- good prep for the next one. Thank you!
Signed up to promote our events, wasn't impressed with the return and cost for said results. So I closed the account. Fast forward 1 month and they charged my card again for over $100. Evvnt emailed back on Nov 25 saying the refund will be actioned, it's now Dec 10th and I'm still awaiting the refund for the charge I did not authorise!
Having been an entertainment company, bringing the best in quality live entertainment in the Brockton area for over 6 years, this helps a lot with advertising.

Amazed by the service and how the website is extremely user friendly which makes submitting and advertisement super easy and hassle free. 100% recommend this site for events listings. Also very impressed with the advertising tiers they have on the paid side but whether its a paid account or free account you hold it's still a fab platform. 10's across the board!!!
Evvnt is a fantastic service! As event organisers and promoters we are very pleased to have worked with them for many many years now. Always very satisfied of the broadcasting service and it is saving us precious time whilst giving efficient visibility to our events. It's worth noting that we are doing very niche cultural events, Live African & World music as well as family and community events, and their listing cater well for these types of events too. The dashboard and features has improved over the years, making it even faster and simpler to publish.
Evvnts has great customer service. RI HOPE was able to get the word out about Debt-Free College with Jeannie Burlowski to 40 online media outlets in our geographic area. As a result, we saw an increase in the sales of LAUNCH: How to Get Your Kids Through College Debt-Free and Into Jobs They Love Afterward.
