I found this product was no good for a curved flower bed where the ground was stoney. The spikes just folded when they hit stone and it looked attrocous. Maybe if you dig everything out and sieve out the stone and pre form the edging you will get better results.

Had timber separating grass and stone borders that needed replacement. Found this after a quick Google search and it has done the job. Expensive as I needed 25 metres, but we'll worth the money.

Marvellous stuff! Edged two small circular lawns that had just been relaid to front and back of property, used last year to stop soil coming over the top of brick built raised beds to great effect A wee bit fiddly to connect together to start but once you get the hang of it it’s easy peasy, bends easily too! Would recommend to anyone who likes neat edging.
They need to go deeper than you may think so if you have roots, stones and under surface materials it can be a bit of fight. I am happy with the product and the finish it provides. I found it easy to shape to curves which look nice.
