AVOID. Massively overcharged for products that don't work. When contacted, they claim to want to help you but in fact just shove you from pillar to post and don't do ANYTHING.

This company is extremely unprofessional, unreliable and provides extremely poor service. I ordered a Panasonic recordable dvd and player was supposed to arrive in 3 to 5 days had to keep calling to chase up. When it finally arrived it was the wrong one and a completely different model. Emailed them and they said it was sent by mistake ( no apologies) They then promised they would send the right one and it still didn’t turn up so called again they then said they didn’t have another one. They said I would have to send the old one back and they would refund the money and again as the money didn’t get refunded I had to call and chase this up in all this took 2 months of frustration and inconvenience

Had a faulty controller and Electrovid replaced it immediately with no questions asked. Excellent service

Customer Service presents itself as helpful and friendly but unfortunately (and like some of the other reviews) this is a bit hollow as they don't follow through with their promises to sort out issues, making excuses and blaming postal services and couriers for failing on delivery of items. Disappointing, especially as their website makes great claims for customer service and great refurbished products. The reality is a bit different!

Bought a dvd/vhs player broke within first half hr of playing. Paid extra for replacement 7 months on still being fobbed off they are excellent at replying to messages but absolutely rubbish at following through. Angry and disappointed with them will never use them again

I recently bought a DVD Writer from Electrovid which was faulty. I then made numerous phone calls to try and get it replaced or my money refunded. I was constantly told that someone would ring me back or that the situation would be resolved but nothing happened until I threatened to take them to the small claims court. I have now received my money back. I would suggest this course of action to anyone else who is struggling to get a refund.

The recorder did not arrive on time but thanks to the team who will go the extra mile for you i got it delivered the delay was down to corona virus again thanks.

I was unsure about buying a refurbished unit, but DVD recorders are becoming rare. I need not have worried the unit is excellent, good value at a good price and excellent service from Electrovid. It cost me less than taking my existing unit to a hi-fi repairer. Would recommend them to anyone looking for this type of equipment.

I purchased a Humax DTR-T1000 Youview video recorder from Electrovid. At no time was it stated that the goods were second-hand, so I was shocked to receive a dented, battered old model with no cables, no instruction manual, and with the wrong handset. I didn't dare try to use it - it didn't look safe. I am frankly appalled that they would try to foist such a tatty old piece of rubbish on someone and charge them £80 for it! I'm now battling to get my money back. Have nothing to do with this company.

Great service , a lovely good as new VCR arrived promptly at a very reasonable price - plugged in and worked straight away - even a remote. Can now watch old videos if nothing on TV in lockdown!!

I recently purchased a V/Player with an extra warranty, when the machine arrived it did have a fault. Upon contacting Ryan I was greeted with nothing but an apology, followed by excellent service. Fast efficient service dispatched same day as ordered .Unfortunately the original one was defective on reciept, I phone and told them and they sent out a replacement straight away and return instructions all free of charge. I would highly recommend Electrovid as they do what they say efficiently and promptly. Thoroughly recommend this company.

Ordered a " Premium Brand VHS VCR & DVD Video Combi Player " as a Christmas present . received a brand I had never heard of with a multibrand remote which didn't work contacted them they said they would send a replacement Remote waited a week no remote contacted them again blamed couriers still no remote and again confirmed remote with me next day . Still no remote . WOULD NOT use this company again . All sorted now remote arrived with Royal Mail and after fitting batteries it all worked .
