So delighted with the service and curtains provided by Allison and her team. We were given excellent advice and guidance on choice of fabric and rails by Allison. The curtains fit perfectly, drape well and are beautifully made. They were expertly and efficiently fitted by Stuart. In all aspects attention to detail was paramount and the results speak for themselves. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them highly.

As a decorator I have been coming here since it opened 3 and half years ago. The customer service is excellent. Steve, his wife Alison ( interior design specialist) and Liam really do know what they’re talking about when it comes to materials. If they haven’t got what you need, Liam will go well out of his way to get it for you ASAP. Great shop. And the craic is good too😁

If you are looking for a superior customer experience and products, you have found the right place. We were given service levels that were equivalent to a personal shopper experience with the wallpaper and paint that we purchased. Extremely friendly service and a high level of expertise as well as an eye for detail that ensured that we were given the best products and colour/pattern matches that we were looking for! The range of wallpaper and paint is extensive with a superb selection that suits a range of budgets .Also on display is furniture, mirrors, ornaments and accessories. The lay-out of the store is well laid out and easy to navigate when browsing the range. Large multi sized companies could learn a lot from this impressive independent business. Decided to decorate our lounge and stairs. Initially popped to the usual DIY stores but couldn’t find any wallpaper we liked. Happened upon DCI after a search and I’m so glad we did. Allison was so friendly and helpful. She listened to our ideas and offered so many samples to choose from in a budget to suit us. She was so good I ended up doing a complete u-turn on what I initially had in mind. Once the paper was chosen, Allison supported us with colour schemes to accent the wallpaper. I can’t praise her enough for her expert help and support, she definitely knows her stuff and offered advice in friendly non judgemental way. I’m so excited for the room to be finished. Will definitely use the company again. Fantastic service! Highly recommend!

After a massive kitchen living space renovation I needed fabric inspiration- I have a very busy life and yet again called on Allison , Allison sent fabric after fabric sample out to me and got what I described totally , amazing fabrics and beautiful curtains , voile and Roman blinds then supplied and fitted . I didn’t even have to visit the beautiful shop !!! Allison certainly knows her stuff and is so lovely and helpful , and the fitting by Stuart was fab this man is so good at his job . All round excellent service I wouldn’t go anywhere else !!! Nearly every window in my house is adorned with beautiful fabrics from the wonderful Durham City Interiors

I first used Durham City Interiors 4 years ago when I asked for advice on design ideas including paint, fabrics and wallpaper. From my very first visit I was welcomed and received lots of information and advice in a professional and also friendly manner. I would always use this company who go the extra mile to give genuine support in a relaxed no pressure way, a quality absent with many similar companies. Allison is amazing with ideas and obtaining samples and Steve is great as well. I know both Allison and Steve have years of experience and their business is their passion and it shows.
