Designrr is the real deal
Just what we needed! I am the media manager for a small nursing association. We very often have to prepare information to campaign for funds from corporate donors to assist in our mission of decreasing health disparities among people of color in our area. This book gives us a very polished look, adding to our credibility.
It is a user-friendly on-line software with good instructions for use. You can pick from a variety of templates and layouts for your projects. The creator of the product is very concerned with customer satisfaction

I saw their offer on YouTube and it seemed to be a good idea. I am currently using Atticus, but for the price of $27 for a one-time purchase it seemed like a good idea. Well, going through the purchase I started getting offers for a variety of upgrades. It was not until I reached the page where I saw that this is just a basic standard version and that their pro version which you can actually use to publish your ebooks on major platforms such as mazon kindle costs $37 a month. Suposedly you can get it for $97 a year if you pay attention to the various offers during your check out, but I didnt see it and even if I did, I would not be interested since I already have ebook editing software that meets my needs. It was not straight forward to get the refund,but at the end I was contacted by I guess the owner Paul who eventualy issued me the refund even though supposedly the customer can request the refund themselves. For some the basic version of the Designrr may be useful, but for me having PDF as the only format option for exporting the ebook makes this software unusable since I produce ebooks for comercial sale that require different exporting formats. I cannot comment on the quality of the product since I never used it, but I would say that the company should be more transparent in their advertising tactics stating that they have variety of versions of their software with different capabilities and prices. Not mentioning it at all in their video advertising and only highliting the pros and the "tremendous discount"that you are getting, makes the customer really mad when they finally get to their payement page and find out that what they expect is actually a lot more expensive than what they were meant to believe.
Designrr has a seven day trial, yet still processed the payment after I canceled the free trial. There isn't anyone on their website to contact (especially if you have not completed the trial period); They purposely have not established any form of easy cancellation method or way to contact anyone. they have a chat box that is not monitored, so you get no response. I believe this is a scam service.

User experience is excellent. One issue is that the previous "search" function was better than the current "find and replace". Sometimes I am just looking to find where a particular word to see where it is located in a document, without the intention of replacing it.
BEWARE. This is a credit system. And be aware that their claims that support will be with you in 20 minutes is completely false. The bottom line is that they are trying to rope you in for $27 giving you the false impression that it is for unlimited use but it is not. So I suggest not buying anything from them. As I am not.

I have recently acquired the Standard version of the software and I am stunned! It's beautiful and elaborate, but simple. The quality of the templates is what impresses me the most. But there's so much more I still need to discover. The creators have done an outstanding work with it. Thank you.

As a new ebook author, Designrr is easy to navigate. The help message feature also is valuable as I was working on my book and had questions. The tools are easy to utilize. There are instructions through out making it simple. There were some challenges in getting a few pages inserted, but the flow is good overall.
