Beware when you sign up for the "$27 Lifetime Plan". They also automatically add a $37 e-Book Course", which is only shown as being added if you scroll down the page. Unfortunately, the payment button is on the top right side of the page, next to the $27 amount that I thought I was paying. Only when I received my receipt did I see that they charged me $64, not $27. They should require you to check a box to add additional items, not make you uncheck boxes that they checked and that you might not see. This is a very scammy technique, for a company with a product that seems to be a good product. A pity. * Update: As for the product itself, I tried it by having the platform create a book and cover. The wordgenie is simply a pass through from ChatGPT (as they clearly indicate), so the results are actually similar but not as good as with the later versions of ChatGPT which cost only $20 per month with no "extras" or upsells. The book cover templates are either exactly or almost exactly like what is available on Canva for free. If you are planning fiction novels, none of the cover templates (even on the $97/year Pro Plan) have options for you, and the WordGenie (ChatGPT disguised) does not offer any fiction categories in helping you create your book. In summary: I get much better results using higher versions of ChatGPT and Canva; the platform is not suited for fiction writers; there are too many upsells and hidden extra costs that you only find out about after you pay; the $27 Lifetime plan is worthless without paying the Annual $97 Pro Plan (and it is even still worthless after that if you are a fiction writer). I tried the platform to write a "test" book, which ChatGPT (sorry, WordGenie), did do, but would have needed many revisions and corrections. After that experience, I immediately requested refunds for my $27 Lifetime plan, the $37 which they stealthly added to my $27 in the checkout process (without requesting that I approve it), and the $97 that I paid for the Pro Plan. The one positive is that they have issued the refunds in a friendly way, without questioning my decision, although the $97 refund took a few hours of my time to sort out with customer service. I have not received the refunds yet (they say that it could take up to 10 days, so I am not worried yet ... although most vendors issue refunds that show up within minutes). The only other big negative is that, on most or all of the negative reviews here on Trust Pilot, the owner/founder/etc. of Designrr responds defensively and negatively, casting blame on the reviewers and pointing out negatives of the reviewers ... this is not the way to handle customer complaints. If I had read the reviews here before buying, I would have saved lots of time, money, and doing without my $157 for possibly up to 10 days. Don't buy the platform unless you are a newbie with ChatGPT and Canva, and only then if you are writing non-fiction.

I really appreciate this as I haven't done anything like this before...writing EBooks that is I have a varied knowledge base in a lot of different areas from learning through my life to help others with self healing techniques and other modalities. The ebook creation in the making has been very successful for a first time creator with the help of AI with WordGenie & Designrr I love the way the ebook feels, look and the values in it and lessons in it. My ebook was very informative when it was done. Love the system and writings through out chapters of the book. Unbelievable how it creates your ebook in minutes. Very impressive work!

The promo video showed lots of amazing and professional designs. It claimed that you could get this for $27 so I paid. But what I got were cheap and unprofessional designs that even canva does better. After flipping through them for 30 minutes and deciding that I got scammed I asked for a refund. Fortunately I got the refund.

I found Desingr by chance and have found my guardian angel for developing my books in a professional and problem solving manner. It is intuitive and easy to use even for me with 71 years of age. I sincerly recommend this program if you are interested in writting and publishing your book.

I got onto Trustpilot.com to look into designrr.io after seeing a youtube commercial. On the commercial it seemed to be quite intuitive, and it might be. I have not purchased a trial of the software. What did give me pause was the way the company responded to people that had posted bad reviews. It was shocking to see that the company was quipping back to the bad reviews with details about the customer accounts, but not understanding that the customers are what makes a company great. Customer service should be helpful, understanding and try to help the customer, whether the customer is leaving a good review or a bad one. For this reason I decided against trying the software, which again, may be quite good.

I cancelled at 19:23 the answer to my question arrived at 22:09 You get quick unhelpful answers if you need clarification there’s another wait for a perfunctory reply, It’s utterly ridiculous to sell this to novices on the basis that they provide a chat service. Avoid. Their defence to criticism is to advance the facile argument that the service offered by other companies is even worse!
