I had doubts because I am not in favor of buying before trying but I was left with no choice since I had gigs coming up, the local stores had no good options and I could get this in my hands with a little time to spare. Guitar plays really well and looks great. Having a six position pickup selector provides lots of tones. I ma going to purchase the mini version when it is released.

I order a guitar strap, however, the one I received is nothing like the one pictured on the D'Angelico site. The strap itself is a high quality item, but I'm disappointed that it's not what I ordered. I've spoken to customer service, but we've yet to resolve the issue. D'Angelico makes premium products and has a quality work force/customer service. **** Edit **** I've been corresponding with D'Angelico's custom service, more specifically Tim Diaz. He's been incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive with his emails and came up with a solution to the problem. I can truly say that D'Angelico guitars has one of the greatest customer service teams around. Not to mention, the reply to my review was nearly immediate, with another individual hoping to help me out. Shout-out to Tim and D'Angelico for all their work/help.

Premier DC MINI It’s a very nice guitar, with a few weaknesses. The neck dives, as the headstock is heavy. They should move the strap pin higher and supply a straplock. The frets, for me, are too high and square, snagging fingers when sliding up the neck, even after dressing by my luthier. The pickguard is in the way of the switch, and to me looks pretentious. Swapped it for an Epi 339 which fit perfectly. The bridge pickup was miswired at the factory and sounded terrible until corrected, which was an expense. The switch operating diagonally is a bad idea for experienced players, who’ll jeep trying to pull it straight up, so I had it changed to vertically, like other guitars of this type. I do like the guitar, but now have to decide whether to live with the frets or do a costly refret.

Habe mir kürzlich die 12-string Premier Fulton Akustik zugelegt .... zugegebenermaßen in erster Linie wg. der wunderschönen Optik. Allein das Kopfplattendesign für sich ist schon ein wahres Schmuckstück! Und auch wenn ich bzgl. des Sounds keine allzugroßen Erwartungen hatte, war ich - nach nem Saitenwechsel auf meine geliebten J. Pearse - echt überrascht. Auch an Saitenlage und Bespielbarkeit gibt´s von meiner Seite absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Alles in allem hab´ ich meine Kaufentscheidung keinesfalls bereut ... ganz im Gegenteil !! ... und auch der Kaufpreis ist mehr als fair *****

Absolutely beautiful instrument

I was looking to purchase a new solid-body guitar to be my main axe. Initially I was considering a Strat or S-style guitar until I came across D'Angelico. I knew of their reputation for hollow-body guitars, but hadn't heard of their line of solid-bodies. After playing one I knew I had to have one because of their tone, versatility, style, and value. I'm very happy with my choice with this unique and beautifully crafted instrument.

I simple love this guitar. It is absolutely beautiful and easy to play. The sound is variable, only the tuning could be a little more consistent. This is a very good guitar!

I did NOT receive my order, despite being notified that it had left in a locker at my apartment complex. It was nowhere to be found in any of the lockers. I contacted the shipper, have received no reply.
