Craig was amazing with my son who has a fear of having his hair cut. He has high sensory issues and says that every snip feels like physical pain. First hair cut today in six months. Craig put him at ease and kept his there throughout. Hair looks great too! We’ll be back.

What a fantastic experience! In the past haircuts have been nothing less than traumatic for my son who is autistic. There was such a calm atmosphere in the shop and my son played happily with the sensory toys while Craig cut his hair. Thank you Craig for your empathy and caring. It was so refreshing not to have to explain anything and feel so included!

Craig is excellent! Patient, confident and helped Lenny have his first haircut. So happy that we chose Craig's barbershop for our sons haircut. Lenny has some sensory overload problems and Craig did a brilliant job calming him down, making him feel comfortable and making it as stress free as possible for him. Nothing but praise for such a brilliant guy.

Wow! What an experience we had here. My son is terrified of having his haircut and when I used to take him to an ordinary barbers, they would make comments and ask what is wrong with him. I took him to Craig today and he was beyond amazing with him. He sat with him, played with him, asked him questions and made us feel so at ease. This was the first time we have EVER managed a hair cut without tears and very few tantrums. He completely turned a usually horrific experience for us, into a positive one and there is no where else I would take my son for a haircut now.

Craig was super patient with my son. Craig waited for my son to explore the area before attempting to cut his hair. I love the fact that he walks around wherever my son went and took snips of his hair off. This is the first time my sons had a haircut with no tears (we did have little screeches as expected) I will 100% only be coming here for my sons haircuts! My next appointment is already booked. Thankyou so much Craig! You do a fantastic job. Highly highly recommend.

Craig was brilliant with our son and allowed plenty of time for him to settle into his surroundings before attempting the haircut. This in turn made it less stressful for us as parents. The result was a lovely haircut, a happy boy who was not too stressed with the experience and happy parents.

Craig was great with my two boys - one of whom has additional needs. It normally takes weeks/months to get my eldest feeling comfortable enough to talk happily to new people, but he was chatting away to Craig within minutes!

Craig was a superstar with my ASD/ADHD son on our first visit and gave him great advice on a style he wants to have next. We have already booked his next appointment. What a pleasure it was to see my son so eager to talk about hair styles! I highly HIGHLY recommend Craig's Barber Shop. Thanks for just being so genuine and caring!

I took my 15yr old son who has ASD here this evening and what a fabulous experience it was for him. Craig welcomed my son and really took his time getting to know him and what style he was after and gave him some great advice! Absolutely amazing we have a child with additional needs we havent manged to get his hair cut in 3 years due to him not allowing anyone to touch it and craig manged to cut it all today he was amazing with our son we honestly can not thank him enough

I took my 1 year old son Jameel to Craigs Barber Shop today for the very first time and can I just say he is by far the best barber I have taken my son to at such a young age! He did exactly what I asked for and was absolutely amazing with him, not to mention he had a little section of toys which kept my son distracted so I found this very useful. I would highly recommend this place. Thankyou so much once again Craig. I look forward to bringing him in again soon ☺️

Thank you so much to Craig's Barber Shop for my son Noahs first visit who is non verbal autistic , he was absolutely amazing with him, had sensory toys and made him feel both me and him at ease, highly recommend if you have autistic children, was so patient and cant wait for our future visits 😊

My Wife and I took our Son Dylan for a haircut this afternoon at Craig’s Barber Shop. He was very patient and Dylan felt at ease in the shop. He gave Dylan a really great hair cut for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this place. Travelled a fair way but was worth the journey. Will be booking in again soon.

My son has recently been diagnosed with Autism and has always struggled with a visit to the barbers/hair dressers, every visit results in huge melt downs and upset. Not this time with Craig, he took the time to listen to what my son wanted, gave him the space to be himself and gave him exactly the style he wanted, for the first time ever he came home with a smile. I really can’t thank Craig enough for making my son feel welcome and comfortable, and giving him an excellent experience! We found it very easy to book and appreciated the reminders, overall fantastic experience. We’ll be back very soon with our other children too, it’s so nice to find a space that feels positive and welcoming for all. Thank you!

Wow - I am speechless. I brought my son who is three that struggles with having his hair cut to Craig's barbers today. Craig has a caring approach and it's shown throughout. My son let him cut just hair without any upset or being overwhelmed. Craig has a range of sensory toys at the barbers which helps distracts the children while cutting hair. My son left with a smile on his face and high fived him on the way out. I am so happy that I found someone like Craig to cut his hair. He will always have us as his customers in future. I definately recommend Craig's barbers - you won't be disappointed!! He is amazing at what he does. Very very happy!! Thank you, Craig.
