I have in the last two weeks purchased a 2 .5 lt and a 5lt tin of yellow Coolvar hazard paint, mainly for painting the edges of outside steps, disability areas,no standing areas, dressing rooms etc for a local football team, whilst I found your product is up to the job, l found that despite stirring the paint pot regularly that the paint thickens into a sort of porridge texture especially at the bottom of pot, on the back of tin it recommends not to thin paint, so therefore you end up with a lot of product at bottom of pot which is unusable. It has been very warm and humid whilst I was painting but I took great care to keep the paint in the shade and worked from a small paint pot. I would be very interested in your opinion on this.

We had a particularly difficult steel plate that had become corroded and rusty. It needed new, slip resistant paint. Coo-Var was the ideal solution!

I had not come across Coo-Var paint until I was working part time at a local company. I was impressed by the ease of application and how well it 'smoothed' out as it dried. I found it hard to find, so bought direct from Coo-var in the end. Wynstay was only place local and they never have stock, flies off the shelves.

OK for domestic use but doesn't compare to say bradite or bedec even using acid etch and cleaner but I guess it's cheap and you get what you pay for.

Everything went well but never received an email saying that it was out for delivery and by which courier,fortunately when i phoned i was told they had emailed that morning saying that it was going to be delivered that day. Courier was brilliant and left it in a safe place for me to get as the job i was doing was on the bank holiday. Yes i will be using them again as i will need more paint.

I cannot rate this company highly enough. I am building a house for a hot tub and entertainment area for my guests and having spent a lot on the materials and time on the main construction I was concerned about the right look and finish for the floor to cover the concrete pad. I spoke to Dulux Trade Centre who are an agent for Coo-Var and they recommended their Dampshield and Pro-Floor Plus System. Given that I wanted to do the job myself I was concerned about the procedures and equipment needed so spoke to the excellent Jake in their Technical Dept. He took the time to go through everything with me an at no point made me feel small or silly despite some of my questions perhaps warranting that! He followed up with emails and was on hand to assist me as I went through each stage allowing for the appropriate curing time. I now have floor that looks amazing, will wow the guests, has anti slip and will Im sure last for years! I cannot rate the products, the assistance and the friendly service highly enough. Excellent product. The first tin I bought wasn't very well packaged and arrived badly dented. However, this latest tin came well packaged and in perfect condition - well done for acting on your customers' feedback.

Good varnish applies smoothly not prone to runs and a nice matt finish
