I ordered a large tin of paint which, thanks to a rather enthusiastic DPD delivery driver, arrived with a few dents in the side and quite a bit of paint leakage. The customer service team were wonderful and super helpful about it - they offered me several solutions to fit my needs and even had a new tin shipped out for the next day. It’s always a little nerve wracking ordering things like paint online when there’s so much room for leakage, spillage or general chaos, especially when it’s a little more pricey, but the whole experience has been great and very low stress. Considering the worst happened and it’s taken less than a day to sort - I would definitely recommend buying from Coat!

Lovely paint. The colour and finish is just what I have been looking for.

I ordered a baby blue/grey paint from coat for my son's bedroom. The paint went on the walls great, however the paint was not blue and just a grey colour. I contacted COAT via text and they text and emailed me back with an apology plus offered me a full refund plus a replacement tin of paint of a different shade of blue. They also offered me 20% off for any other purchase. Customer service and care is outstanding.

I really liked the ethos behind Coat, but couldn't decide on what colours to use, so I booked a virtual colour consultation. It was definitely worth it. Aaron helped me to figure out a colour scheme for my home, and explained what colours would work in each room. I also received free swatches and a moodboard with spec that I can just hand to my decorator. Definitely recommend!

We used COAT paints to do almost all of our new house - with the exception of a couple of colours we wanted that they didn't provide. However, their curated palette is wonderful and it's all looking great. From the website to the returns process, COAT is an amazing company. The paint is absolutely wonderful to work with. Delivery was genuinely next day, and I had to return some items I didn't need - the return was flawless and so easy. Can't recommend them highly enough, to be honest.

Although I love the colours, I cannot recommend this paint at all. In terms of durability, this paint is probably the worst that I have worked with. I've had paint peeling off walls, which is a first for me. The paint won't take frog tape, even the delicate surface. The paint itself marks more than any other that I have used, so if you have kids, I wouldn't recommend at all. Overall, I won't purchase this paint again. It wasn't cheap and if it has zero durability, what's the point? Disappointed

Excellent service, next day delivery. Paint went on well and covered well. Only needed 1 coat over white emulsion. Dried to exact colour of sample. Lovely Matt finish, will definitely use again.

Absolutely love using coat paint! The quality of the paint is Devine, I was sceptical at first as I’ve used other brands which have been recommended to me. I used the paint in my daughters bedroom which was a dark colour and the paint covered in just 2 coats. Perfect! I literally can not wait to get started on my next project!

The paint arrived quickly, very well packaged in these really nicely scented material bags. Beautiful! Unfortunately, one of the paints was incorrectly supplied as an eggshell finish… and this was before I excitedly went ahead and painted my wall with it already! COAT happened to reach out to me today (via phone message), to check if things were ok with my delivery. I explained that one of the paints was more glossy than expected. They asked me to supply photos, and it was then I realised I hadn’t read the label correctly. Despite this, in less than an hour, they arranged to send out the correct matt finish paint that I had originally ordered, free of charge. Basically, their customer service is personalised, prompt and very excellent! Really no fuss at all. For what it’s worth, the other paint I used looks beautiful and I’m really pleased with the result. I would gladly order from COAT again.

Will update after I have done the painting but just wanted to say that so far my experience has been great. Customer service has been outstanding which compared to that of the last major home improvement retailer is a huge step in the right direction!!

LOVE everything about Coat! Our whole experience as a customer has been brilliant. We loved our colour consultation with Aaron and his guidance was phenomenally helpful. He suggested ideas we had not even considered - and now the rooms are decorated we absolutely love them. The samples were perfect as it’s great to be able to move them around the room/s with ease. Customer service excellent and paint arrived promptly, as promised. Excited to book in our next colour consultation and embark on the decorating for the next rooms.

Ordered the 2am exterior paint, I first thought the paint was the wrong colour as it looked totally different in the tin but once applied it dried to the exact colour. The paint comes very nicely packaged and the delivery’s were on time. I would definitely recommend and will be buying more shortly for a few rooms that need spicing up.

Beautiful colour, went on really nice had a great sheen, dries quick, levels out nicely, no smell either. I used it on my kitchen cabinets, only downside was it took more coats to get full coverage which for the price I was expecting better. Overall the colour was perfect since it’s the only place I could find the shade I was looking for.

There are loads of things I love about COAT paint: - The stick on samples eliminate the leftover waste paint that you get with tester pots and are really easy to use. - The colour choices are fantastic and more keep getting added. - The decorator commented on how nice the paint was to use and that it was clearly good quality. Bear in mind it may need 3 coats but I know this is a case for some other high end brands as well. - The matt emulsion cleans well - I have been able to clean muddy cat paw prints off the walls with no issue (the colour is 'Good Intentions', a light colour). - I really like the ethos of the company - carbon neutral, etc. - Great customer service. One minor con: - There is a smell with the paint. I found that as long as I aired the room out, it was gone within a few days.

My husband and I have decorated a lot over the years but it was the first time we've used coat. It was refreshing to have a smaller range to choose from and we went for mindful to update our hallway. The service has been excellent and we can't fault the paint, love the little touches too. The colour is gorgeous, it just highlights the other rooms we need to get on with now!

I don't normally do reviews but I'm afraid this time i have to. I ordered this paint on request of my client, paint arrived a day late considering it was next day delivery. The colours ordered didn't match the colour swatches that were provided. The paint its really stank and made my eyes sting, the coverage was poor and took 3 coats to cover and forgthe cost you would expect ot to be on same as paints such as farrow and ball and little green but unfortunately not at all. Do not use this paint, expensive, toxic smelling, poor quality, late delivery, colours that don't match, wast if resources such as random bags to carry paint, sticks and panflets it's all just a bit of a con. I will defo not be using this paint again and I'll be advising any client who suggests this paint not to bother. There are so many better trade brands out there than this absolute rubbish. If you buy this paint be prepared for an upset.

This was quite a big change for me being a very loyal customer of high end paint brand and having dabbled with another new paint company (couldn’t get the lid off their tins!) I liked the opportunity to try out the stickers and the selection. I settled on ‘well ground’ and ‘humble’ for the sitting room and I love it! The decorator said it went on beautifully and it’s given a lovely chalky finish. I’ve already got samples for the next room !

Definitely worth the money. Aaron was very communicative and had excellent ideas. Really happy with the colours we chose and the speed at which he sent all the information through, I have already recommended the service to friends!

COAT paint is lovely to use and gives good coverage, the colour choices are simply beautiful and we are so happy with our new look bathroom. We’ve ordered more paint for our bedroom and diner too, can’t wait to transform the spaces with these beautiful colours. Customer service has been great too, we had leftover paint and COAT provide a recycling service, they refunded us the cost of posting the leftover paint to them and gave us a discount on our next order, which we used straight away!
