Great paint, good coverage and colour range. Went on nicely in comparison to other paint brands. However, the calculator/paint guide is not very good and customer service response was essentially "Sorry for the inconvenience". Bought 1l to allow for a room a lot smaller than the guide of 10sqm and it wasn't nearly enough to get a nice even finish. For the price of the paint and the number of influencers getting it for free, you would hope that paying customers might get a discount on a second order when having to repurchase due to misleading advice.

This has to be hands down the best paint I’ve ever used. I bought the CHARCOAL BLACK to go on a white wall and it only took 1 coat. Highly recommend! Thanks guys.

I cannot understand how this paint receives the reviews it does. My painter and decorator said in professional forums there are issues galore. Where do I start: - undercoat primer: zero coverage. Like painting with the sort of paint kids use to finger paint. According to Coat its about the "stickability". Sorry if the primer has zip coverage with show through and patchiness how can a top coat stick to it. Despite sanding and sugar soaping the product beeded and we had to stop using it. - emulsion: six months and it feels plasticy, claggy. It hasn't cured and it just doesn't feel like an egg shell should. - coverage of the top coats - like many of the reviews here we had to do three coats to get any depth of colour and the previous colour on the walls were off whites. It has nothing to do with painting over dark colours. Coat have said under lab conditions the paints are behave as they expect. Well my house is in the real work not a lab and your product sucks. We are in the process of repainting the entire down stairs and stairs with a competing product. We did a test. The eggshell cured and dried and looks and feels as one would expect within days. Coat - in the real world Mylands works Coat doesn't. My experience with Coat has cost me thousands of pounds. Avoid this product at all costs.

I recently used COAT Paints to repaint my kitchen and lounge. I love, love, love the colour patches and simply won't shop with a brand that only offers tester pots. They're so wasteful and messy! I like supporting a new, small business and one with good intentions for the environment. Delivery was very quick and the colours look gorgeous on my walls. I will definitely shop with COAT in the future.

I am seriously impressed with COAT. I didn't expect to be writing a review about how well it goes on but after the absolute dream of a job I've just done using their paint I had to give them a shout out about the quality of their product. I used exterior masonry on the inside of a light industrial unit and couldn't find a fault if I tired. I'll 100% be using this stuff again and will be recommending it to others.

I’ve always been the decorator in our house and I have to say this is without doubt the best paint I’ve ever used. It goes on like a dream and covers beautifully. The colour swatches are brilliant, no messing with stupid little expensive paint tester pots. I love the fact the paint is mixed to order and arrives very quickly packaged in reusable cotton bags and also a wooden stir stick. The sustainability of the paint is a massive plus. Can’t recommend enough.

Wow what wonderful paint! There are some fantastic colours to choose from and their clever peel and stick swatches ensure you appreciate the colour in all lights. It goes on like a dream and coverage is excellent. Next day delivery is standard and they're totally sustainable too. You won't buy another brand in the future I can assure you.

We were attracted by the excellent range of colours, not just the normal range. Delivery was fast, and repeat orders provided a consistency of colour. This paint is not cheap and coverage on sized new walls was not as expected. However on a big house project we used several paint suppliers and Coat was by far away the best quality paint!

Coat paint is great quality, covers well unlike others and a lovely Matt finish. I used Mr Clifton in a north facing bathroom which had very basic suite and white tiles. It now looks hotel quality and the colour of the paint is like the Pembrokeshire sea at dusk. It was exactly the shade I wanted. Teamed with ochre coloured towels and bath mat for a pop of complimentary colour. Everyone loves it and have had many compliments. I would use Coat paints for any future decorating projects.

This is lovely paint - used wood paint at mine and painted walls at my daughters and both times it was a joy to paint with . A great modern finish . And love the eco credentials and what they are wanting to achieve . Have just bought paint for a bedroom - looking forward to doing that

Came across Coat after hearing from a decorator that some of the more expensive paint brands weren't actually as good for what I needed. Really great range of colours, and I appreciate companies who make the extra effort to be a bit kinder to the environment. Love the ease of the peel and stick samples, so much less mess and plastic waste too.
