Many years ago I took part in growing plants with Biochar as an added ingredient to the soil as an enhancer I was using. I then compared the results with my normal growing beds/techniques. I couldn’t believe the difference with added Biochar, the crops were better and germination was doubled compared to the standard bed. I have been educated now to believe that you 'feed the soil' and not the plants as the benefits are greater.
