Buscott Woodworking's expertise and craftmanship exceeded our very high expectations! Our Grade II listed retreat house at the Chalice Well Trust and Gardens in Glastonbury was in desperate need of new windows and external doors. Buscott staff helped us negotiate the requirements of the conservation restrictions and provided us with beautiful new doors and windows. To the inexperienced eye they look exactly like the ancient ones they replaced, but the difference in the retreat house is incredible. No more delightful noise from the HGVs coursing through Glastonbury and no Somerset gales blowing through the doors and window frames. The house is beautifully warm and cosy with incredible light coming through all the windows. The craftmanship is top notch, matched by brilliant customer service! The team at Buscott have just manufactured and installed 3 new sash windows to replace the rotten 1970's horrors in our house. The windows are fabulous (can be opened and closed with just one finger!) and the installation guys were a pleasure to deal with. In my lifetime I have had the pleasure of having a number of complicated timber projects done for me but none to the quality that Buscott produce . Jake, Adam and the team are total professionals with a love and desire to produce only the best. I had a staircase and balconies fitted in 2018, bookcases and doors followed. All crafted by hand to the highest quality. Reliable and trustworthy . They , to me , are the benchmark for skilled wood carvers.
Adam & his team produced a hand built kitchen that is faultless in its build & design. We also had custom built turning stairs, a unique design which again was of excellent craftsmanship & design. The service was good throughout the build through to installation & follow up visit.
