I needed my new radio registered while abroad in Malta. Yacht registration Holland were truly fantastic. With minimum hassle the registration arrived within 24 hours. My yacht is UK registered so I thought I would be stuck. But the process was smooth and trouble free. Well worth the fee charged.

We made SY registration on the Poland flag because it was promissed that would be finished in 2 to 3 days. Unfortunately, the whole procedure took one month, apparently because of a delay in the Polish registration office. This is also the reason for 1 star only. Generally, the application and contact with staff were OK. I hope that it will not be the case in the future. Good luck!

The whole operation was easy and painless, I got exactly what I wanted to legalise my VHF radio aboard my yacht all done on line. Included was mmsi and ais numbers and registering my epirb, altogether a happy experience very pleased.

My experience with YRH is now 6 yo. It was good from the beginning and it still is. Although they have established a platform in the meantime, their service is still personalized; a few people there know me and still address me by my first name. This year was a little different, because I had to change flags; this caused me some feelings of insecurity, but Ingrid was there to personally assist me and answer all my questions. All steps were realized according to schedule. Based on my personal experience and relationship, I intended to give them a 5 star rating; I am giving a temporary 4 star, just as an incentive for them to improve the platform, by making it a little bit more user friendly. The point that needs revision is mostly the disambiguation of the meaning of some procedures, like "download all documents", which does not make much sense in the beginning, because I have uploaded the documents myself, why do I need to download them, anyway? Just little things like that, nothing major. Fortunately, both the automatic response and frequent reminders are there, and a person as well, to make things work. Last but not least: No hidden costs.
