High quality camp with kind teachers. Our kids loved it and we are repeat customers.
The teachers are amazing and the combination of creativity and digital skills made the camp really special for my daughter. She was so happy to use physical making with digital technology in an open way. They made something new every day and it really expanded her skills and engagement with coding.
My 9 year daughter attended the camp and loved it. The organisation was excellent and the teaching to a high standard. She will definitely go again.
Interesting topic but didn't get the sense that teacher-student engagement was very high. Maybe the kids are too young at 5 or below, maybe it was the end of the day, and maybe it was just that the kids didn't know each other so weren't really being very social, but I walked in to pick up my child on day 2 and it was just silent in the room. Not much interaction between the kids and the teacher, all of whom seemed a bit bored. Child said they did the same thing for two days in a row, so not terribly enthusiastic about signing up for a third day.
My son had a great time and I think it’s such a good camp the time is amazing the only thing I would like to see change is that the kids come away with something that they can continue to work on £110 per day is a lot of money not to get any feedback or more information to be able to guide your child into continuing and practice what they have learnt I just feel for that price they should be able to come away with some of the skills they have learned and to be able to practise them
My son says they quickly get through set tasks and then are perMitted to find games on the internet. We do not permit online gaming at home. We want our son to learn coding, and expect that he only plays games in class in order to test and trial his and other childrens coding/game creations. Please plan more activities for children who are quicker in class. We did not sign up for online gaming
Great company, very professional
Fabulous highly recommend!
What an incredibly well run company, I had a few queries regarding a coding camp for my son and I’d like to personally thank Maria for her wonderful customer service and helpful nature. I had all my questions answered clearly and all very responsively too!
Ares had coding camp this summer for a week and he loved it!!! He still says best time ever… luckily now we have blueshift in our school as an after school club and am sure he will have a great time there
Our son loved both his Minis coding camps: not only he had fun but enjoyed the experience so much that he wanted Scratch Jr downloaded on the ipad and has created more than 30 animations in the last 2 months! He is also saying that coding is what he wants to do in life now. We are all looking forward to him doing more coding camps with BlueShift Education.
Excellent intro to computing and coding for children!
London has so many options when it comes to coding camps, and we're so happy to picked BlueShift Coding holiday camp for Emily! Our little STEM explorer absolutely loved it and learned so much in just 5 days including some truly important digital skills like touch typing, coding, and building robots, and also made friends. We loved the balance between educational activities and free play time. Really appreciate Emily's teacher and everyone else who runs these camps, and would highly recommend them!
My son enjoyed his first camp experience so much he wanted to know when the next half term was to sign up again.
I paid for a private lesson but no-one ever got in touch. I tried to call but no one picked up and there is no email to contact them. So £70 wasted with no come back.
My son’s 1st coding experience and he said “it was the best time of his life”! Well done to the BlueShift Team Thank you for encouraging my son to do his best! Happy Mum, Patricia Galon
Booked BlueShift Education to hold a session on our Summer programme, great communication and brilliant feedback from the young people that the course was really good and tutors helpful!
My daughter attended the BlueShift Coding camp at the Colville Primary School last week and loved every moment of it! Not only she acquired some incredibly important digital skills like coding with Scratch, building robots with LEGO Spike, and touch typing with TypingClub, she also really enjoyed the atmosphere, play time, and just how everyone is so passionate about technology. She had an amazing time and can't wait to be back next holiday break!
They are exceptional - both in terms of the actual coding classes for the kids (I have two kids aged 5 and 8 who have done multiple days/weeks with them in the Notting Hill location) and in terms of their service and how flexible and quick they are to respond. A special shout out to Maria who is unfailingly helpful and cheerful - thank you!
Given the overdose of online classes during Covid period, I was highly skeptical about whether Blueshift would be able to hold my child’s concentration. My skepticism was put to rest within the first hour … my child was highly stimulated and entertained. She could not wait for the next lesson and has infact asked to be signed up for more! Well done to the wonderful teacher for making coding fun.
