We recently bought an 'owl shaped pigeon scarer with a rotating head' in the hope that it would scare away the colony of pigeons that were regularly waking us up by settling on our balcony in the mornings. And do you know what? It's done the trick! Still get one or two but nothing like the numbers that we used to get. Very cost effective and humane, and he's become part of the family ;)

the rat trap catch would not stop on it should have had a catch hook very difficult to set up would not buy again

I ordered a mattress cover from Best Pest Control, and the person I spoke to was very helpful. The product arrived quickly, was easy to fit and is very comfortable to sleep on. The instructions could have been more detailed, as they state the cover should be zipped up both before and after putting on the bed, and it is not altogether clear which end is which until one notices that there are instructions on both ends of the cover, and that they are not the same. The product is guaranteed for ten years, and therefore I would have appreciated the inclusion of more than three non-reusable plastic closures.
I received the item quickly. The instructions are simple and the set up of the product is easy. Just have to wait and see now if it functions as promised.
We have not yet tried them out ion the garden so it is premature to comment on their effectiveness. They arrived in really quick time.
