The site is filled with dead links, and they don't even have a contact Phone Number, They have only been running for 1 year. They simply resell servers from a company called [External Link], they say, the website feels rushed, unprofessional and their live support is down. Buying directly from [External Link] is a-lot cheaper. "DEDICATED SUPPORT Our Expert team of highly trained Support Technicians are on standby 24/7/365 to ensure that if you have any type of problem, we are here to resolve it with minimal downtime. From server downtime to in-game griefers - If you need help, then we are here for you! " When in reality their support team is only up like 9 hours per day, and god help you if it's friday, Your ticket won't even be read until the following monday. Not impressed.
I'm very impressed with how Astral Game Servers has handled the running of my minecraft server thus far. Their technicians are prompt with responding to e-mails with even the dumbest of my questions. I fully appreciate their commitment to my entertainment, and will recommend them to anyone wishing to have a server hosted in the future.

Now granted I've only been using Astral Game Servers for a week or so, but my experience so far has been great. I've rented a server from them for a multiplayer Feed The Beast modded Minecraft experience for my friends and I. Initially it was the prices that brought me to them, seeing that they are roughly $5/mo cheaper than most others for the same resources. The server so far handles the mod pack just fine, which is good, because it can be hard to handle. I would be very likely to refer others to their servers.
Astral Games was very patient, I had my server up in less than 24Hrs. The CEO himself even helps with support. Very cheap prices and reliable up time.
I'm a fairy new customer coming from a particularly bad experience both service and support wise with <external link removed>. I ordered a dedicated server from you because I felt your website was efficient, well laid out and in depth. I must bring up though that though installation was fairly fast (roughly 36 hours) by comparison to other companies, by comparison <external link removed> had a 1-2week wait. I was also informed that it would be up to 24 hours. In fairness to yourself I do understand that inconveniences can happen which prolong the setup time, but perhaps a notification to those waiting that its going to be a little longer could be an idea moving forward. Support wise, I have found those spoken to, to be extremely helpful, knowledgable and generally a pleasure to talk to. I'm a massive fan of the personal way they talk to me, especially as I was spoken to like an idiot at <external link removed>, which I found extremely offensive, I may not know a large amount of ssh, and server side issues, but I am a more than competent programmer in c, c++, java, HTML and have full understanding of binary. irrelevant I know, but being spoken to as if I won't understand any computer based language is not good when you don't know the background of those your speaking to. So keep up the way your support team speak to people!!! Despite this however, I have felt on a few occasions that I have needed to wait an excess amount of time for answers to my questions. Though the answers are good, this can be irritating in certain situations where I don't have a solution and am being forced to have a lot of downtime as a result. So perhaps a faster response system could be implemented. Service wise, I have been very impressed, I believe the physical server has had 100% uptime thus far, and I have not experienced any in game lag except through my own or members own connections. Issues which were major problems at <external link removed> and the main reason for my leaving them. Finally, my one little problem is that a lot of your weblinks do not work, mainly in the knowledgebase areas, I found a way around this and visit the parent companies website, but bear in mind this may deter your potential customers (and given the good service Im getting, I wouldn't want that) All in all, my improvements are simply: fix the weblinks, and faster support, other than that keep up the good work!!!
I actually almost feel bad I'm paying so little for my own small server and access to really friendly technical support. My server hasn't been down, I really have nothing to complain about. Definitely a big thumbs up to the Astral Game Servers guys from me.
i love how easy it is to run the server, and the prices are really good too, but i experience a lot of bugs with the server, it kicks us off for no reason, and today, it started making it where we couldn't open chests or the screens for machines. if you guys could just work on the technical side a bit more, you guys would be gold

it world be nice if like you select your mod and then in the jar have a like drop down arrow so you can easily pick which version of the mod pack you want. other than that love the service I get and would recommend it to a friend
After reading reviews and trying out a few services I decided to go with Astral Game Servers, I liked their website content and thought the pricing plans were reasonable.
I have the 716MB package for Minecraft and it works perfectly. I just came from a host that charges 7.50/month for only 512MB of RAM with 12 slots. The package and the service exceed far beyond the other service. The Support Staff here are amazingly quick and accurate with their responses. Not long ago, I wanted the Big Dig Modpack installed for my server, and I got it changed in 2 days I believe, and all I had to do was upload the zip file. I love this host and I don't think I could find a better one :)
Pros: Responsive, knowledgeable and accurate pre-sales. I asked specific, pointed questions in chat before I made my purchase, and to my pleasant surprise, was given accurate, honest answers instead of the usual "tell them what they want to hear to get the sale" fiction. Very refreshing. Incredible, personal, responsive customer service. I wanted a particular "production" mod pack that was not on their drop-down list on the server manager, and within the hour of making the request to have it added, it was there and running. Extremely intuitive management interface, including full FTP support for managing custom config files. Self explanatory, no need to add to this statement. Reliability and suitability of the product. A heavily modded minecraft pak is a server hardware nightmare. The FTB Ultimate pack, with its 80 some-odd mods ( and growing ) is the current mainstream epitome of a stress test. I have put this server through its paces in earnest by having people generating new terrain like it is going out of style while others simultaneously create new ages and transit between worlds, with few large forest fires tossed in for good measure. It is only through concentrated, concerted effort that we are able to negatively affect the server. Most outstanding. Cons: The "ticketing" system is obviously a work in progress. I look forward to the refinements and smoothing out of the communications flow. The opening and response are fine, but the ongoing needs some shining up, as others have indicated. My only other complaint is actually the biggest one, simply from a pet peeve perspective. I've not experienced this many 404 errors from a professional corp in my life. Seriously, get your links sorted. Have your web dev and QA team test the links from an "outside" perspective. Remember, just because a link works internally for you doesn't mean it will work for the outside world. Wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more. Synopsis and thumbnail version: Wicked good servers and responsive folks at TS, a bit weak on the presentation, but getting better. Solidly recommended service. NOTE: I didn't mention anything about the price. It is so STUPID low that it doesn't need discussion.....Stevie Wonder can see this is a good deal, even in a dark basement with a blindfold on.
I really enjoy these guys at Astral. They have provided excellent service and support as I stumbled my way through setting up my server on their system. The have been friendly and very quick to respond to my needs. The server itself is fast, and much better than trying to run it on my home network. I would gladly suggest Astral Game Servers for anyone's Minecraft Server needs.
Its great, I love the ability to manage my server on the fly from any device, and when I had a issue come up the support team got back to me faster than I expected and resolved the issue the first time. I would, and have recommended this company to anyone looking for a reliable affordable game host
Great service. If you want a fast, reliable and affordable server to call your own you can't go wrong with an Astral game server. Customer service is quick and efficient. I had a problem, caused by myself, and it was fixed within a day. I would highly recommend purchasing a server.
You guys are really good and are running this company great!.I am very happy that i choose Astral to host our server.1 thing that is not bad but it is slightly annoying is how i need to submit a ticket every time i reply, My YouTube network (machinima) get you to submit a ticket and then communicate in the email until everything is resolved.This would make a lot easier however its not an urgent matter.Other than that its been great!!!!

I purchased a server to run Tekkit. I have no complaints whatsoever. Setting up didn't take long, the service has been smooth and the staff have been very helpful and friendly. Also it's brilliant value. I'll happily recommend this service to anyone.
I am very disappointed in the user experience for setting up my Minecraft server. The instructions on how to do it are too vague. My server is still offline, and I have not been able to find any information about how to bring it online. In addition, the support help have not been available since early Friday. I left messages in the "support window" but have not been contacted back. It is now Monday and my server is still not online.
