Prompt arrival of engineer to fix dishwasher. Very nice chap who left it running, and then departed after payment. But fault number still coming up and I can't get response from engineer or company's phone line to come back and finish repair!

Faultless service

The guys were great-I’d had been trying to get another company to get engineer to come out to replace the fan heating element on our Smeg oven for 2 weeks- they messed me around waiting for parts and then told me they had no engineers! I called Appliance Repair, they were very responsive, they had someone round the next day who fixed the oven in less than 15 minutes. Great service, very efficient. Thanks

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM !! I can only give 1 star as there is no option for zero. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They destroyed the plinth under my units while installing a dishwasher. After agreeing to replace it (£250) they then drew it out for a year and refused to pay. I took them to small claims court and WON. This was in September. The judge told Sam that he had 14 days to pay the damage. He emailed the next day to say he wouldn't pay.... I have now applied to the court for a Warrant of Control. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM !

Seeking a dishwasher repair, i called both numbers on the appliancecentre website, and was told they only serve north london right now. The website is very clear its 'citywide' service. I was disappointed that the person i spoke to appeared angry / willing to hang up just because they happen to have no engineers in south london right now. Hopefully not representative of their broader approach to customer service.

I have been waiting weeks for a replacement part. The customer service is so rubbish - rude staff who don't answer emails or return calls. I wish I had gone with a different company.

Appliacentre provide a really good delivery service. I have used them twice and both times they have been reliable and on time.

I called this company to arrange a repair man to repair my dishwasher. Man turned up, I told him the Error code was F14, the repair man without even opening the dishwasher says ' Oh you need a new pump'. I challenge him and ask him if he wanted to just hear the noise etc. His answer was both arrogant and patronising - ' I have been mending dishwashers for over 25 years!' He left asking me for £48 which I obviously had to pay. I then had to call Appliancentre 2 times to chase the part, each time I received a curt and rude response saying that they could not locate the price yet. Thank goodness since I then called out a very reputable repair company ( whom I should have contacted in the first place) who actually opened the dishwasher and proceeded to remove an olive stone which had become lodged in the pump. And the machine was working again. I called Applianccentre Customer Services to complain and the person taking the call siad ' he would get his manager to call me. Of course no 'manager' has come back to me. Nor did they respind to my review I left on their site. A terrible experience - unprofessional and tantamount to negligent and dishonest behaviour by the repair man. The least the company could do is refund the £48. JUST RESPONDING TO THE REPLY I RECEIVED And I received a reply within half an hour of posting the above review - the response was not an accurate relection of what actually happened: 1. The repair man hardly diagnosed the problem - he arrogantly guessed and without even opening the dishwasher door! 2. I called and said I would like someone to contact me about my complaint and that I felt I should have my £48 back and if no one bothers to contact me I will write a bad review ! If someone had taken the time to contact me ( as any decent customer services should ) then we could have averted any need for an HONEST review! This is all you needed to do.! I did not say refund me or I will write a bad review! In response to your second reply, I do not appreciate your answer which is clearly trying to discredit me. Do not bother replying again - I would advise anyone reading this, to steer very clear of Appliancentre. Total charlatans.
