I have emailed them three times over the course of several months on a valid email chain to request support and have been completely ignored. This company has horrible customer service. Pay the extra money for Office Ally.
Feels like the group of people are trying to be helpful but are lacking leadership and any issues that need any meaningful effort can take ages to be resolved
I signed an agreement with Apex in July to have them credential out new doctor. Without any prior notice in the middle of the credentialing process I receive an email indicating they are closing their credentialing department immediately and I will receive a refund in full. Weeks on and as of the date of the review I still have not received any money back from Apex. They did not do what they claimed to be experts in and now I must start over with another more reputable company to try to fix what they have started.
If a claim is straight forward Apex is easy to use but if there are any issues they are very difficult to deal with. We continue to be told it is our software to only find out it was the submission.
We have worked with Apex for over five years now, and I have no hesitation in recommending this company. We rarely have a problem, but if we do, their customer service is prompt and efficient, and they always follow up.
Overall things have been running smoothly, however we were told that we could upload documents to be sent with the claims, and unfortunately, this is not the fact. We are also having an issue with getting EOB's from BCBS, this has been an issue for months now maybe starting in October, and it has yet to be rectified.
