I personally had a very bad an experience with Anslow Autos. I bought a car from them back in April 2023. The car was cat n and I was told by Ray the car sustained minor body damage so everything looked good and I purchased the car. However, around 4 months later it had an engine fault light come on. I went through the RAC warranty I got with the car but they said take it in to BMW. It was checked and they thought that the EGR was at fault and being a known issue it was replaced and all seemed well. No RAC warranty impacted and was replaced by BMW but had to pay nearly £1000 to have the engine walnut blasted due to carbon build up that was not covered under the warranty. About 4 months later and now out of RAC warranty the EML came back on again but this time when it went back to BMW they found an internal engine fault and advised this was likely the issue fist time around and the carbon issue was due to engine damage and not driving style. Basically, I had a nightmare trying to determine the cause of the damage but later on I did find out through my own investigation that the car had actually been Cat N due to water entering the engine (Flood Damaged) at some point which was not on any report I received from Anslow Autos or noted in the RAC approved check I received. So basically it was a flood damaged engine and the main reason it was given it’s cat n status. What annoys me the most is that Ray advised me it was can n for panel damage only and the main reason I purchased the car as it was great condition and no mention of any engine damage what so ever so ever. This unknown issue has sent me all around the world with BMW believing the EGR was at fault when it clearly was not. With a lot of in and out of the garages and a lot of expense to identify the internal damage and then finally fix the engine which ended up needing an engine rebuild costing me thousands I did some checks and the flood damage would have been knows by Anslow Autos had they done their proper due diligence and did a proper check rather than make up the story they used. Once I found out the real cause of the damage I approached Anslow Autos but they wiped their hands of the issue blaming everyone but themselves. Had I been told about flood damage upon purchase I would never have considered the car and his lie or lack of knowledge as he states of the cars car actual n status despite being RAC approved is in my eyes negligence at the least or a down right lie to get the car sold. As such I would not recommend this organisation what so ever as they took absolutely no responsibility for the lack of checks they should have made to the car but mainly for the mistruth they made up to sell me the car in the first place.

If you want a quality car you must visit anslow auto because you will not be disappointed at all. The seller second hand cars but but do look like they are new.

Anslow Autos Limited are very professional with exceptional knowledge of a customer's requirements, next level salesmen and behind the scenes high quality work. I'd recommend them because they found me the perfect vehicle. Ray and Joe were extremely helpful, took care of everything, including putting my personalised registration plate paperwork together and were available for my late-in-the-day pick-up time of 7pm. So, I would recommend Anslow to anyone who wants a great car with fantastic service, excellent knowledge and outstanding value for money.

I can't say enough good things about Anslow Auto Car Garage! We've purchased two cars from them, and each experience has been nothing short of exceptional. I was in limbo buying a car as I’ve had many bad experiences with buying expensive cars and faulty ones. I walked in Anslow autos and straight away I felt the warmth and comfort from the staff they were great and very welcoming. Not once did they push the car onto me they let me walk round ask as many questions as I wanted and answered them confidently and accurately. I had to return the car due to a minor defect the owner of business straight away said bring the car back and I’ll give you a car so you can work! again great service. I recently bought an Audi from Anslow Autos Ltd. I bought it based on photos and a video, rather than travel to view it. It was pouring with rain on the day it was delivered, so I couldn’t see that the wheels, which I assumed had been powder coated black, had been painted by hand and a pretty poor job had been made of it. This was something I found when I washed it 2 days later. When I drove it up the A1 a couple of days later, there was a brake related rattle. It had new front brake discs and pads fitted by the dealer, so I ran it into a local garage to check that it was safe. This seems to be simply due to low quality brake discs being fitted and rattling around on the mountings, but at least I now knew it was safe. It has subsided with use, as things have got a bit covered in brake dust. Then, in the first week of ownership, the car developed a coolant leak. Firstly, I rang Anslow Autos and, as I had bought an RAC warranty with the car, Anslow referred me to the RAC. So, after consulting the RAC warranty team, I went to a local garage on the RAC approved list. The diagnosis was a corroded vacuum valve and apparently the water pump was beginning to fail. Here is where Anslow Autos stood up to be counted. The RAC would only pay for about 80% of a £1500 repair. I contacted Anslow and they immediately sent me the money to cover the remainder of the bill and an apology for the car having developed such a serious fault so quickly. Although there was some inconvenience and a bit of stress with the defect (I was without my car for 6 days), I was very happy with the outcome.

After purchasing an Audi q5 from a different (awful) dealership, I was very anxious about purchasing another car in fear of the same issues happening. I called to inquire about an Audi q5 and spoke about the issues with the previous dealership. Instantly I felt reassured and the garage couldn’t be more than helpful. I didn’t feel pressured at all through the whole process and they were great and having patience with me asking a million questions about the car. When I decided to purchase it, it was an easy quick process. As soon as they received the funds they had my car ready that afternoon. I couldn’t collect for 3 days due to work and the day I did collect they stayed open later to accommodate this or I’d have had to wait another few days. When I got there the showroom was stunning, the owner was lovely and allowed me time to look at the car, ask any questions and test drive too. Again I didn’t feel pressured or rushed at all. Only once I was happy with everything did I then sign the paperwork. I got given the full history for the car, all mot certificates including a 12 month new one. Every receipt and service history, and the rac report they had done. I got given a copy of the paperwork, they helped me arrange the tax and was nothing but pleasant. The car is absolutely stunning, inside and out. It looks and drives like a brand new car and after 2 weeks I can honestly say I’m 100 percent happy with the car. The log book came through in 5 days and I was able to put my private plates on and within another 4 days the new log book has come through. This was a total different experience to the first car I purchased and I can’t thank Anslow enough for how great they’ve been from start to finish. Without a doubt will use this company again when/if I ever decided to change cars. The car isn’t only everything I was looking for but such a great price for the spec and quality of car. Daylight theives. Not to be trusted. Did not honour the deal they'd promised via Motorway, citing spurious claims which, when disproved then continued to argue over hundreds of pounds. Time wasted, evening ruined and conned. Left with a very bitter taste in our mouths. Rehearsed good cop/bad cop ruse which left us angry and out of pocket. Hope they can sleep at night.

My experience was a bad one with this company. I decided to part ways with my car and used an online car buying website, this company bid on my car and a price was agreed. I was told by the dealership that a staff member would travel to Scotland by train to collect my car. Today was that day, after communication via txt messages with staff member he arrived to collect my car he took it a test drive and had a look over the car, he mentioned an issue with the turbo which was absolute nonsense as the vehicle has been checked over by my friend who is a qualified mechanic, he also said there were bodywork issues, again there was nothing wrong with my car. The staff member then goes on his phone to his boss comes back and decides to offer me £2,000 less. My day has been wasted and I am out of pocket, terrible experience.
