Numerous resources online state Amazon Publishing Portal is not affiliated with Amazon. When I asked this directly of APP my question was never answered in a way to remove doubt. When things didn’t work out, AAP only agreed to give me a 70% refund, claiming that’s the arrangement with a “package deal”. Unfortunately, I was never informed that I would lose the option for a full refund if I signed on the during the discounted price time frame. I did have to work to get a full refund. I let APP know I expected a full refund by the end of the day or I would refute the charges. The full refund came through with 10 minutes to spare. Illustrations are paramount with a children’s book. The illustrations were not able to be completed in the manner I described in detail. I couldn’t afford to continue losing time with nothing to show for it; especially at this price point.

This was such an amazing experience and my long awaited ambition of seeing my story in print was made possible by Amazon Publishing. My first contact was with Chris Parker.
