I bought a Ring Gen. 2 motion sensor. It was on sale and shipped quickly. It connected to the Ring hub with no problem, but there were not mounting hardware (screws and wall anchors). In the past, I have always received mounting screws and anchors. Maybe, Ring is no longer supplying them? It wasn't a deal breaker for me as I have them.
