My husband bought warranty then the car transmission broke. They recommend the nearest mechanic to fix transmission & they send damage transmission so now we had to pay double charge says mechanic bcoz he had to work on it again. Feels like we got scammed. Till now we haven’t heard of our car being fix its been a month. Mechanic avoiding our text. Not sure if they r working together to scam us. Don’t know when or if we’re getting our car back or how much bill we will be paying last time he said need to charge more labor & warranty doesn’t cover their mistake for sending bad part.
I bought a warranty on my 2015 Rav 4. Within a month the Transmission was slipping. Called A-Protect and I was back on the road in 3 days. Kristina my service agent was amazing.
I have had multiple negative experiences since having this coverage. I purchased the luxury option that covers many expensive components for my BMW 7 Series. First experience was when the transfer case was faulty, they insisted on taking the car to THEIR preferred shop otherwise they would only cover a reduced per hour labour cost and no shop materials- fluids, gaskets etc. I insisted on using my own shop because of the nature of the vehicle and the skill required to work on this car. Got the repair completed and paid for the full job and had to go through many hoops after including escalating to a " Manager " to get the E-transfer for reimbursement weeks later. Fast forward to a few months ago, the vehicle was diagnosed with a costly engine fault which would require a fairly costly and time intensive job. This process started early summer 2022, after several phone calls getting a run around and speaking to so called " Managers " and numerous emails including taking legal action their company if they did not comply with their own policies, the company agreed they would eventually reimburse me app $5K for the $14k job which I was perfectly fine with. I was told once the job is completed email an invoice with proof of payment and they will send etransfer within 1-2 weeks. Also need to add that I paid for this repair with CASH and not credit card or debit. I did everything they have asked and today I was emailed asking for further proof that the job was completed- proof of ordered parts or cash withdrawal receipts. I replied that I do not need receipts because of the nature of my cash business and again reiterated my intent to take legal action if they don't reimburse me as promised. So, now I am out app $14K for a car repair and they will continue to fight this claim I am assuming. I am more than happy to spend more $ in legal fees to expose this fraudulent company's operating policies. Hopefully they have a change of heart and do the right thing here!
I have to agree with other reviews that I wasted my money buying this coverage. On my 2013 BMW 328 I had a intermittent warning light for power train problems & lack of power. I took it to a garage I trust,which is not on the A-Protect approved list, who diagnosed a waste gate problem on the turbo. A new activator (readily available) was needed & I was quoted $905. I was directed to a shop in Milton who gave a price to A-Protect of approx $2100 replacing the entire turbo(with a used unit to keep the price inside the claim amount) of which I am to pay approx $800 for fluids & hoses not covered! On the 2nd Sept.'22 I signed off on the work order, including use of a used part,after a period of 8 days to e-Mail it to me. I have sent e-mails & made phone calls with only a single lame apology & that their parts dept. has ordered the part. A used part which is probably in a breaker yard somewhere!! Still no satisfactory answers after my vehicle being in the shop for week for 4 weeks.

This is the worst thing you can buy. I am an Engineer and know a lot about reliability and maintenance and these guys find every item not to pay. I bought the upgrade packages for my BMW X5 with all the electronics and navigation features. Long story short, Nav screen faulted, they blamed the cable connecting to the screen CAUSING THE ISSUE???? PS I had to change the screen too??? Ignition problem, blame the grounding cable? Neither case apparently covered. Do not know even if true, because you virtually have to go to their garages that they send you too. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!

A-Protect Warranty is a SCAM. This is the worst warranty program I have ever experienced. They told me I was covered for multiple things and then after I sign up and I encounter a problem with my dodge promaster that i just bought 8 months ago they tell me I am not covered for any of the things they previously stated. I have been trying to contact them for a week now and they blocked my number message manager who is supposed to call back but never does. Wasted my money buying a warranty from these people. Huge SCAM, contacted me and stated that what was said over verbally does not matter; all that matters is the fine print in a contract it was verbally agreed upon،They will not cover what was verbally agreed upon. These people are just out to scam you, they will find loop holes around everything, don’t expect to get covered for anything they will for sure scam u worst company and staffs over the province have no respect for anyone...
Worst customer service. I called is about my complaint of the dealer they sent me to did a garbage job on my car. They made me wait and many time I had to hung up One time I wanted to see how long they made me wait. I stayed on the line 4 hour and no one answered. I had to use the second line to call in. They answered right away!!! They just want new claims where they get kick back from the dealer. If for repairs on guaranteed service. Good luck waiting
It was a bad mistake to buy a guaranteed from AProtect!! I had a worst time dealing with my claim. They sent me to crappy transmission rebuilt at ALl Pro transmission to have my transmission rebuilt. They did a crappy job. Within 5 months. I had to bring back four time for transmission oil leak and a second rebuilt. Then another three months I have to do a third rebuilt and they made me pay because I exceed the guaranteed km which was 12k km. All five times I brought back for repairs. All pro transmission gave me hard time getting the service and each time I had to call aprotect to complain. All in all. AProtect send people to crappy shop where they do duck tape repair on vehicle

Really bad experience they play game first yes we do help u only half the Cost and keep me running to see Mechanic and then they start we try to call the Dealership and hi is not answering, so we cant cover u , I call them 20 times in one week just to till me that in the end
Back in January 2020 I purchased a used vehical from a dealership that wasn't to kind in selling me a reliable vehicle. Since then the motor has blown and many other problems came to follow. I normally don't believe in warranty however thanks to Sarah at A-protect warranty I've never had such peace of mind. She had not only taken care of every problem that needed fixing she really made me feel and has show. She really cared about my situation word can't describe how thankful I am for not only purchasing the extended warranty but thankful I got such caring and productive services with A-Protect.
